On page 99 Geniekin are listed as having the SKillful Tail level 5 feat. This is identical to the Ganzi Skillful Tail feat earlier in the book. SKillful Tail makes sense for the Ganzi and is a prerequisite for other Ganzi feats. Skillful Tail doesn't make any sense for Geniekin. Was this an accidental duplication error?

I didn’t write the section, but both undines (various aquatic critters) and ifrits (salamanders, most notably) seem like reasonable folks to have tails!

It wasn't an accidient, geniekin can have tails! It's not just the geniekin and ganzi, too, Skillful Tail appeared earlier in APG as a tiefling feat. There's plenty of potential elemental ancestors that have tails. Andrew mentoined Salamanders, but there's also the primal dragons and mephits. If you read through the rest of the geniekin sections, tails are called out specifically in many of the "### Relations" sidebars.

Geniekin can absolutely have tails, but I think we did the feat a disservice by not having any of the genieking art depict tails. We'll make sure to make it more obvious in the future, but know you can totally have a tail as a geniekin if you want, with or without the feat. :)

That would help. All the art showed characters that had tails due to ancestry, not versatile heritage, so it was a little confusing. Thanks for the clarification.
