Anyone know where to find the multi-dimensional bank?

Advice

Scarab Sages

I vaguely recall years ago seeing an entry with information on a multi-dimensional bank (had branches in various times and dimensions) that you could bank with. However I've not been able to locate it does anyone recognize this vague description and can point me to where it is please?

Do you know which game, setting or edition it is from?
The city of Union from 3.5 Epic Level Handbook could fit the bill. There's no write up of a mega bank per se, but Union is an epic-level city with epic level inhabitants and organizations, including moneylenders, so something like this bank could easily work there.

Scarab Sages

Nope I thought it was pathfinder but I've not found anything so it might be 3.5 I'll dig my books out sometime next week to start checking there.

I don't think it was union fairly sure it was specifically a bank or at least a single group/organization not a city.

Scarab Sages

Took a look at union that doesn't seem right but maybe I'm just mixing things together. Still I could have sworn it was more banky than the centre. That said I think I can adapt union for what I have in mind and maybe add a few extra features.

Sovereign Court

Maybe something to do with Abadar, the deity that is the 'Master of the First Vault'?
From the linked Wiki associated with it: Abadar's divine realm is Aktun, the central and largest district in the city of Axis ... Abadar has long served as the guardian and protector of the First Vault, his personal palace and a repository said to be crafted by his own hand that contains perfect versions of everything ever created or seen by civilized peoples.

Actually my character is an authorized representative of the multi-dimensional bank. Just drop your valuables into this bag of holding and I'll write you up a receipt. Wait a couple of hours for the initial paperwork to be processed and you're all set. Whenever you need to make a withdrawal just call out this phrase I'll write on the receipt ("Owah Tagoo Siam") and a representative will appear to handle your withdrawal or deposit....

Definately not that this one involved trade and commerce whereas he . . . does not.

I know there's some kind of trick/joke in that phrase given the context but I can't place it.

Probably in reference to all those internet banking scams involving some foreign country. ;p

As for the multi-planar bank, sounds like a 3pp planar setting thing or possibly even a "homebrew" kinda stuff since most regular published adventures rarely involve banking across the various planes of existence.

PS. possibly even an adaptation off an established setting like Planescape/Spelljammer/Mystaran Immortals/Epic/PF's First World?

Owah tagoo Siam = Oh what a goose I am

I don't know about the "banking" part, but witchwyrds are interdimensional traders. You can find them in almost any time or space. (Including Katapesh in the Inner Sea.)
