Looking for a recommendation for a pair or trio of linked PF2 scenarios

Hey gang --

Three boy scouts spent the better part of the weekend insulating my garage, and they've asked me to GM for them as a partial reward for what they did. They haven't played any Organized Play Pathfinder 2 stuff, but I have been mostly GMing Starfinder (and the occasional PF2 repeatable when needed) for my local venue. I'm not as familiar as I'd like to be with the PF2 storylines. I'd like some scenarios that are related to each other but are mostly stand alone on their own, and low level since they will all be level one.

Give me your suggestions, please! The boys range from 13 to 17.

The best ones are over 1-4 tier. In the 1-4 tier, 1-08 and 1-11 link together if you're paying attention to the details. All the metaplot makes more sense if you've played the pregen special.

Thanks, I will look them over. Does anything link up with 1-07 Flooded King's Court? That is such a spectacular scenario to introduce people to PF2 and Organized Play. I am especially looking for scenarios with fun storyline and memorable NPCs.

2-01, 2-03, 2-05 is the beginning of the season two meta arc. Level 1-4s, they can be a bit deadly, but I think are very interesting scenarios. But better if the players want to really think about the lore.

The two-parter of the Thorned Monarch and Lost Legend (1-16/17, 1-20, from memory) work much better as the season 1 metaplot than the beginning of the season, but they are 3-6s.

Nothing has linked up to 1-07 (or 1-02) both are some of my favorite scenarios.

1-05 Trailblazer's Bounty might work well with scouts. 2-09 Seven Secrets of Dacilane Academy has the school setting/urban legend aspects that might work well too.

I will look at your suggestions, Eric! Thank you!

1-08 and 1-11 are an obvious duplet, but 1-18 and Q07 are good stopovers in between because of the geographical connection (set between the River Kingdoms and Andoran). I think 1-02 is also set in that region, but I didn't like that scenario very much so I haven't explored it well. The downside is that 1-11 is reputed to be a tough scenario for level 1s, and 1-18 can be real hit or miss.

1-15 and 2-01 are also linked geographically (Iobaria) and thematically, but again, the downside is that 2-01 is reputed to be tough for level 1s.

1-07 and 1-22 are a urban duplet both set in urban areas that could be thematically linked.

I had planned on a duplet of 1-05 (which is a good starting scenario IMO) with 1-03 for my kids when they're ready for PFS, with the option of continuing forward to 1-12 or 1-10; sort of a jaunt northwest from Absalom and maybe an OOC trek across the Crown of the World to Minkai for 1-06 depending on their interest.

I ran the Beginner box twice in January. I think it's a pretty good match for young, new players. It's built pretty well to slowly introduce new rules as you go. Plus, it's sanctioned so they can get PFS credit for it. It splits well into two sessions (upper level and lower level of the dungeon).

From there, you can go into a scenario like 1-01 or the new 2-11. Or you can continue with material not quite sanctioned yet from the new module or AP.

From another thread it sounds like you've run one full scenario for them; which one did you pick, how did it go?

I did Tarnbreaker's Trail, Grehunde's Gorget, and Whitefang Wyrm. The boys loved it. One of them has decided that his character will be a gnomish druid princess. Another is a gnomish barkeep fighter who tries to solve every problem with alcohol lore. Then there is the half-orc monk with a burgeoning law practice and a goblin dragon sorcerer who discovered how much he likes talking to real dragons and zapping bad guys. They are enthusiastic and entertained. I am following up this week with Lost on the Spirit Road, and then we'll be doing the Blooming Catastrophe series after we've snuck in one more bounty to level them.

I am still looking to do 1-05 and Dacilane Academy too, both of which look fun. As you can tell, we've been having enough fun that I decided to GM for them for a while.

I'm looking for more advice. I do have one kid in the group who is less involved. He's on the autism spectrum and tends to 1) hide out in the bathroom 2) play on his device. But he wanted to create an awesome CSI Search and Rescue character, and so I tried to inspire him to join in by running 1-03 which is a body recovery mission. After a slightly rocky start, he suddenly realized that this was his scenario, and he switched on.

Spoilers for 1-03:
He enthusiastically took charge of the handout of missing Pathfinders and took the lead on the hard work of identifying bodies. He even got into fighting off the undead and counseling the survivor, treating him for PTSD and spending time making sure the half-orc was okay.

Are there any other good rescue scenarios that could reward a kid who has dedicated his character to Medicine? The boys are all Level 3, with one scenario to go until level 4. If there are some great 1-4 scenarios that you can recommend before they level out, I'd love to try some before picking up the Metaplot with 3-6 scenarios again.

Actually, I'll take suggestions for 1-4 and 3-6!

I just ran 1-06, Lost on the Spirit Road, which is a search and rescue mission for some missing pathfinders. You could play up some of the CSI aspects there, I think.

As far as that goes, 2-01, Citadel of Corruption has some investigative aspects - more archeological.

And boys that age would probably get a kick out of Q4 - Port Peril Pub Crawl. One of my favorites.

What about Fall of Plaguestone? I'm only partway through, but the investigation portion seems very relevant.

I'd take a look at 1-12 Burden of Envy:

Spoiler:
It's a different kind of rescue mission where the team is trying to smuggle some people out of a repressive city. They need to arrange transport for several folks and there's plenty of room for creative solutions. At least one of the people has a sick family member and won't leave without that person, so it gives a medicine focused character a chance to shine.
