There's a button I can push to ignore Wolf??? where?! :)
Nah, I don't mind changes in casting or even tweaks in the origin stories. Didn't mind bio webs by McGuire Spidey. LOVED how awesomely accurate to the old comics/cartoons J.K. Simmons was! I don't mind changes when they're well grounded into the movie story, but good nods to the source material is also necessary.
Just disappointed MCU has not really gone the distance to honor the fundamental story arcs for each team or heroes out there. Avengers was great, but I think they should have gone back to making individual heroes movies after that (i.e. Cap / IronMan / Hulk fighting some of the classic villains from their respective comics... there's too much of a gap there once they opened the Avengers' can of sardine, and instead of typical superhero movies we started getting one huge cast ensemble after the next, which reduces each actor's individual screen time, resulting in a 'fast-paced' (read hollow) movies filled with zingers and punchlines stringed together by special effects and CGI landscapes (instead of a deeper, character-based story which connects more emotionally with viewers). Scorsese had some opinions at the height of the MCU craze that some of the execs down there should have paid attention to...
I don't know DC as much as Marvel so I can't really complain about DC movies as much (yay right?) as I have less comics-based knowledge about their stories. I just find the DC movies a bit bland and more skippable. But in general they suffer from the same problems and will ultimately be victim to their own success (or perceived lack of success because execs making decisions instead of artists is what's killing it).

I frankly don’t ever understand what you’re saying when you make your MCU arguments. What fundamental story arcs did you want them to do in the middle of their interpretation of the Infinity Gauntlet? As for individual Movies after The Avengers - they made a crap ton of them.
Iron Man 3
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Thor: The Dark World
Ant-Man
Spider-Man Homecoming
Doctor Strange
Black Panther
Thor: Ragnarok
Captain Marvel
Spiderman: Far From Home
Black Widow.
Indeed the movies are “ fast-paced movies filled with zingers and punchlines stringed together by special effects and CGI landscapes” which makes them a pretty damn good approximation of Marvel Comics.

I mentioned the comics and toys to illustrate that the people on YouTube complaining have access to the materials that would grant them the advanced knowledge of the franchise to understand the nature of the story as presented and how it fits with the overall franchise and thus their rage is merely performative to get clicks.
Your thought exercise about better ways to display the skill of Teela shows more about what your personal bugbear is - because it was an issue that didn’t need resolving in the narrative and no one brought it up but you.
I watched the Filmation series as a kid too, and I also liked these episodes. Seeing why others could be upset is one thing, turning that into tacit agreement that Kevin Smith lied because the upset fans had different expectations than what they got however are two different things. But you enjoyed the show, so we are in agreement and you can stop with your devils advocacy fansplaining in my direction.
Not even sure how it's a lie he said it was a he-man story and even ignoring an entire second half still to come it is a he-man story in the same way that the death of superman saga was a superman story even though he was absent for a big part of it.

As someone who hasn't seen MotU:R but has seen some of the old Filmation ones in the distant past, mebbe some folks were hoping for a more roid-raged, ultraviolent adaptation of the 80's version cartoon of He-Man? ;p
Maybe, but they certainly were never told that was what this was going to be - and it’s kind of hard to see where that expectation comes in. The talent behind the show gives no indication of a series like that, neither does the original source material.

My terse review:
It's a pile of meh.But then it's a cartoon aimed at kids, so....
I did think it was a WTF moment when Teela has her table-flip/rage-quit over the fact that no one told her Adam = He-Man.
I mean, come on! Hello! Capt'n Obvious!
:D
I still can't get over the King's reaction.

The visuals and fights were good, adams thing wit his dad was amazing.
What might have worked is if she'd used the conjunction to put bits of castle greyskull at the 8 corners of the universe, so everywhere was technically inside the castle...

I figured her mother would make one last sacrifice, or the Apex would free her somehow, or heck, just pull a Will Turner and have her get 1 day out of the castle every 7 years or something.

I was wondering what the point of having sorceresses looking all 'roided up was all about?
She channeled the power of grayskull to become her own champion.
Warning: the power of grayskull has been known to cause increase height, extreme muscle growth, absurd muscle definition, dad jokes, mood changes, and the loss of flexibility. If symptoms persist....
