While it could be interesting if construct companions could select a support benefit, there's nothing I see suggesting that they are intended to have one. Remember, support benefits are an animal companion specific thing, not an aspect of all minions.

Am I just not seeing a companion support benefit for when they are not commanded?
Such as the bear support benefit of dealing 1d8 each time you strike until the beginning of your next turn.
Also, unless I was mistaken, you don't get the support benefit unless you have used the Command Animal action. [I'm not positive if you could use the one action support action for an animal that gets one action even when you don't command it or not]

Mature companions that gain one action to stride or strike when nit commanded can't use that action to support.
