Mesmerist arcane casters?

Are Mesmerists Arcane Casters able to use Arcane Strike?

Heard somewhere they are counted as Arcane too, but that doesn't seem right

As far as I can tell, there are no Mesmerists in 2nd Edition (yet).

If you meant to ask for 1st Edition, no, Mesmerists are Psychic Casters.

There are a couple of archetypes that change this to Divine spells, but I don't see any offhand that would make them cast Arcane spells...
