Bonney Lake, WA - looking for Pathfinder 1e group to play in person

Gamer Connection

I'd like to get a group together to play Pathfinder 1e in person. I'm looking for three players and a GM to join.

I'm not picky about which module/AP/homebrew we'd play, as long as there's good chemistry. Shooting for playing every other Saturday, sometime between 11am-8pm. Late Sunday or weeknight games (like starting at 10:30pm) could also work if that works best for everyone.

I can host. I have a big table, a couple game mats, and a fair amount of minis (creatures and environment).

I'm looking for players who are okay with just getting together and playing without worrying about COVID (no masks, no 6" distancing, etc.). Also, I'd like to avoid gaming with people who are easily offended. I want everyone to feel comfortable joking around and having fun without worrying about offending other players. Short version: if you think there is any validity to the argument that orcs are racist, this isn't the table for you.

Is this even legal where you live?

We're in the midst of a rapidly worsening pandemic. Other people are giving up holiday celebrations and similar face-to-face get-togethers to try to kill fewer people and keep the hospitals from reaching a breaking point.

And you're advertising for a bunch of strangers to do the opposite.

Cool, sounds like you're not interested in joining the group, which is fine. Adults in my area are free to similarly avoid my game for the same reason, or to assess the risks and decide they're comfortable risking it to have fun and live their lives as normal.

As for the question of legality, I'd simply point you to the U.S. Constitution, First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

As for the COVID lecture, I choose not to live in fear of a virus even the CDC says has a 99.5% survival rate for those under 70. Other people are welcome to cancel whatever holidays they'd like, but I my family, friends, and I have chosen to reject that notion. There are more than a dozen of us and we've gotten together maskless and indoors all year and not a single one of us has gotten COVID. Hospitals aren't reaching anything close to a breaking point; that is fiction.
