Eidiolon has wings at level 1 but can't fly. I am uspet.

Rename the Summoner as the Cosplayer, and problem is solved.

This shows the importance of names, just like in fantasy.

Summoner still summons stuff, so yeah.

Congratulations! As a child care worker I have this advice to offer about worrying whether your child is exhibiting a certain behavior/capability or not, every child is different and the benchmarks we professionals use not only span 6-10 months of time but are also graded on a scale from Beginning to Secure. Don't let anxiety over whether your child isn't doing something at the lower end of those boundaries (or even the middle-end part) so long as you can clearly see them progressing its likely fine. Also I have not yet known a child who hits every benchmark when they "should." Every child I have cared for has been ahead in some areas and behind in others.

Also get a papoose and don't use a dummy/pacifier.

Congrats too :-D

Be aware that you will be wishing for your kid to reach a given step in growing up (say, crawling to begin) only to regret the time before ;-)

Examples :

Crawling
Walking
Speaking
Reading
Driving

its not their fault i'm sure a good portion of children would never grow up if given the choice

Thanks for all the kind words, all!

Honestly, I posted in the middle of a "announce the news to all the family" sort of tour, and a number of drinks colored my decision to share with you all.
