I was reporting Absalom Initiation this evening when I noticed an unusual entry in the adventure listing.

The first option in the 2e scenario list was PFS2E Adjustment: Boon for 2/3 Level start characters.

What is the purpose of this option and how should we use it?

Probably if you purchased the Playtest Boon to start with a 2nd or 3rd level character, that's there to get your 12/24 starting reputation. There might be other ways to start at level 2: Eager Protigee might do it?
If you started your character at 0 XP before applying chronicles, it's not for you.

There are a few but there doesnt appear to be a way to distnguish between level 2 and 3 which would be needed it this were intended as a way to prevent the eporting system kicking out errors.

That's a good point. I'm assuming it's not ready for prime time and will get split into a level 2 version and a level 3 version when this actually goes live.

Since it is showing as an adventure, it might be a mistake. But I can see, as First World Bard points out, that they may be looking for a process to get all those characters that started at a higher level than 1 to have their correct reputation.

It shouldn't need to be split to two versions; they just need to fix the reputation cap of 8, so that you could entire 12/24 as appropriate. Or report multiple (and 8/4 or an 8/8/8 respectively), which you might have to do anyways if you split your reputation between factions.
