Ward Against Corruption - APG Dustwalker feat p.38 clarification

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

Quote:

WARD AGAINST CORRUPTION

Your soul is warded against the power of undeath and plague, as well as that of the evil former psychopomps known as sahkils. You gain a +1 circumstance bonus to saving throws against death effects, disease, and all effects from undead or sahkils. This bonus increases to +2 against an undead or sahkil’s death effect or disease.

I can't see the difference between the conditions that grants the +1 bonus, and the condition that grants the +2 bonus...!!

What am I missing?
THANKS for clarifying!!

The Only Sheet

Say a non-undead, non-Sahkil creature casts Vampiric Exsanguination on you. That spell has a Death tag, so you get +1 on the save.

Say an undead or a Sahkil creature casts Disintegrate on you, you get +1 because it's an effect from undead or Sahkil.

But if undead or Sahkil casts Vampiric Exsanguination on you, you get +2 because it's a death effect from undead.

i think the confusion is the phrase “death effects, disease, and all effects from undead or sakhils”. That’s intended to mean death effects and disease from anyone + all effects from undead/sakhils, but as written could be read that it is limited to protecting you from three things, only when they come from undead or sakhils: “death effects, disease, and all effects”. The latter reading doesnt make sense, so not a big issue.

@NemoNoName Ah I see - THANKS for the clarification!!
