Ways to get Sneaky Maneuvers Rogue Talent without being a Rogue

Advice

PLEASE NO 3PP OR HOUSE RULES ANSWERS.

Are there any strictly RAW ways to get the Sneaky Maneuvers Rogue Talent without being a Rogue? Gear, feats, traits, anything like that?

many classes (and arch classes) can pick rogue talents. some from a limited list some from the entire list open for rogues.

go here and make a search for "rogue + talent" . marking only the fields you want to search in them (classes should be a lot)

Ninjas and Slayers. Hunters?

Slayers can only pick from a limited list, which is the root of the question really.

That's about all I got. Sorry.

Umm, you only need 2 levels in Ninja or Rogue; then you can take Rogue Talents as Feats.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Anytime a rogue with this talent could hit an opponent with a melee sneak attack on her turn, she may take a –2 penalty on her attack roll and attempt a dirty trickAPG, disarm, stealAPG, sunder, or trip combat maneuver instead of dealing sneak attack damage. If the attack succeeds, the rogue deals weapon damage as normal and then attempts a combat maneuver check as a swift action (the –2 penalty only applies to the initial attack roll, not the combat maneuver check). This combat maneuver still provokes attacks of opportunity unless the rogue has a feat or ability that allows her to perform it without provoking attacks of opportunity.

Ninjas, archaeologist bards, negotiator bards, stalker vigilantes and dashing thief swashbucklers can get rogue talents without limits. The melee sneak attack part in the first sentence would mostly limit this to ninjas and stalker vigilantes though (possibly also some prestige classes).

There are several ways to get similar abilities to this which apply to only one combat maneuver; the felling smash feat for tripping for example, or the Aldori defender fighter for disarming.

Maybe take a look at Rose Warden?

It is special because you not only get access to rogue talents, you also get advanced rogue talents at level 5. Your fighter or slayer can get advanced rogue talents at level 10 just like a full rogue.
