Golarion languages

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I'm a dirty rotten immersionist with an interest in fantasy languages. Too much Tolkien, I suppose.

Are there any web resources that have dictionaries or glossaries of any of the Golarion languages? I'm kind of curious about conlanging up some etymologies......

There's nothing like that, at least nothing official. Singular words or phrases were at times given in some languages, and some languages were desrcibed as being derivative of another, both none of the languages are given a complete vocabulary or grammar.

Most of the official informationa bout languages you can find on the wiki, with the links to sourcebooks that may contain a bit more. But t's not much.

Creating a full language is a lot of work, and I'm glad that Paizo is using their energy for other things.

Since words from other languages most often come in fiction when the narrator doesn't know a word's meaning, or in block text, a lot of the definitions come from context clues, so there are a lot randomly in the fiction that have not been added to the Wiki as well
