Does this work with scrolls? As in, can i obscure the casting from the scroll with spellsong?

Thank you

Spellsong specifically calls out casting a spell. When you use a scroll you ACTIVATE a scroll, casting the spell on it. They're 2 different actions, so I'd say that this feat wouldn't let you Spellsong a normal Bard spell on a scroll.

Since you can use Metamagic on a consumable item to improve the spell there is a precedent for modifying a spell AS you're putting it into the scroll, but Spellsong isn't a Metamagic feat so you couldn't use Spellsong, sing it into the scroll, and then activate the effect of that feat when you cast the scroll either.

Thanks, Mark.

I'll toss in this FAQ

Items as Spells: Does using a potion, scroll, staff, or wand count as "casting a spell" for purposes of feats and special abilities like Augment Summoning, Spell Focus, an evoker's ability to do extra damage with evocation spells, bloodline abilities, and so on?

No. Unless they specifically state otherwise, feats and abilities that modify spells you cast only affect actual spellcasting, not using magic items that emulate spellcasting or work like spellcasting.
