Legendary shove / grab / trip

Rules Discussion

Would someone in legendary Athletics with Titan Wrestler be able to grab, shove, or trip a Gargantuan Mu Spore? Under the Mu Spore stat block it says:

Enormous: A mu spore is a massive creature and takes up a space of 10 squares by 10 squares (50 feet by 50 feet).

I don't even thing a huge creature would be able to. It just doesn't make sense.

Yes, the size - not the number of squares occupied - should be what you are counting because that's what the feat is designed around.

No, you shouldn't draw the "but that's not realistic" line at what legendary characters can do in a game that is already clearly incompatible with "realistic" in the first place. Because otherwise you'd have to say "a mu spore can't actually exist" or "a mu spore does exist, but your character can't do anything more than irritate it because your hefty magic weapons are like the bites fleas are to you."

This is Superman catching a passenger jet. Welcome to Legendary Athletics.
