Full plate and body slots

Rules Questions

Hi,

a full plate uses the armor slot, I am aware of that.

Nevertheless the description of a full plate states:
"A complete suit of full plate (or platemail,as it is often called) includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and a thick layer of padding that is worn underneath the armor."

Does that mean, that the Head, Hands and Feet body slots are occupied too?

Thanks.

Nope, armor only occuppies the armor slot.

I don't think it is ever made explicit, but I have always played it that they include those things, but you can substitute different gaultlets, helm, etc if you want without compromising the magic of either.

Magic Armor Rules.

last line under Magic Armor Rules wrote:
Armor is always created so that if the type of armor comes with a pair of boots, a helm, or a set of gauntlets, these pieces can be switched for other magic boots, helms, or gauntlets.

Also see Magic Items on the Body for additional rules.

Items only occupy the slots they are defined to occupy. Wearing full plate is not intended to prevent you from (or penalize you for) wearing other items that occupy the head, feet, or hands slots.
