Battle Scion Skald archetype and rage rounds

Advice

So...
How useful is the Battle Scion Archetype? I mean, at level 7 I could be sharing some Combat feats, yeah, at most 2, but party needs to meet prerequisites.

My question is, are the rounds enough since it cost 2 rounds per turn to maintain the rage song that gives combat feats?

I wanted to give the party Outflank, but what else could I give? And having to pay 2 rounds per turn, I'm afraid they won't last much

I know most people will say combat last 4 rounds, but that for me is 8 rage rounds, and it won't leave much options for other combats

The inability to cheat prerequisites makes the feat selection very poor to begin with, rage powers are generally superior to feats anyway, and you'd have to rage cycle with Lingering Performance every third round to make your raging song last a day.

It's not that useful.

I wanted to share some feats like Outflank, but then I realized there aren't many I could share.

Also I'm not clear on whether Lingering Performance keeps the Rage Powers on or not. I've seen people say both thing and even quote a FAQ on fear.

I liked the concept, but it seems base skald is better

Lingering Performance would allow you to keep giving out rage powers. I guess it's people being really pedantic about "bonuses/penalties" that say the opposite.

The FAQ on fear doesn't seem relevant unless you were trying to use the Community Minded trait that doesn't affect morale effects but morale bonuses.
