Does the Pickpocket's Outfit bonus stack with the baggy clothing bonus?

Rules Questions

Quote:
Outfitted with concealed pockets, this clothing gives you a +2 bonus when hiding small objects on your person.
Quote:
An extraordinarily small object, such as a coin, shuriken, or ring, grants you a +4 bonus on your Sleight of Hand check to conceal it, and heavy or baggy clothing (such as a cloak) grants you a +2 bonus on the check.

Does this stack and make the bonus an effective +4?

Liberty's Edge

Both bonuses come from clothing, so I would have them overlap. But I think it is more a matter of GM tastes than of explicit rules. It can bo both ways.

Then what's the point of pickpocket's outfit if they don't stack?

Not going around in baggy clothing or with a cloak in summer?

You want to stack a garment bonus with a garment bonus.

People wear tight clothing in summer? No adventurer past level 4 lacks a cloak of resistance.

Pocket scarf specifically states that the bonus it gets does not stack with the bonus for heavy clothing. While it is a different item and has a higher bonus it is still pretty similar.

The heavy clothing bonus only applies to extraordinary small objects. It is in the same sentence and uses the word and. Pickpocket’s outfit applies to all small objects. If you steal a single coin you get a bonus for wearing a cloak. If you steal the merchant pouch with all his coins you get no bonus for the cloak, but you do if you have a pickpocket’s outfit.
