Pie in the face?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Since it's April Fools Day I thought I would ask how this might work (not just for annoying people, it would be useful in combat since they would be blinded for at least a round or so.) I figure make a ranged attack with a -4 penalty for being an improvised weapon, not sure on range but pretty short, and if you hit say they have to make a move action (provoking Aoo) to wipe their face off, until then they are blinded. Obviously wouldn't have an effect on sightless creatures (other than to enrage them further.)

Sounds like a dirty trick maneuver.

Maybe a (melee) dirty trick combat maneuver? It's got a lot of what you're after, and it's really too close range to be considered a ranged attack.

Mudball Spell

I'm actually interested to know how many ways there are to perform ranged combat maneuvers. I know there are bolas, (which are slightly underrated, IMO), some feats and barbed arrows/bolts.

Is there a way to do a ranged dirty trick?

Throwing Shield is a Tripping Weapon.

The Archer Fighter Archetype can do a lot of Combat Maneuvers with their bows.

There are Alchemal Weapons and Fireworks that let you do some Dirty Trick effect-stuff.

IF "sand in the eyes" is a dirty trick, then "pie in the face" must surely be as well.
I'd let you throw it...10ft?
