Updated the document through to right before area K.

Decided to skip ahead a bit and stat out Wavewalker and do details on Seaspike, because...I felt like it.

Updated the document through to the end of area K.

Updated the document through to the end of Part 3

Updated the document through to the end of Book 4. I already put up the link for the document for Book 5.

Updated the document through to A4.

EDIT: I also went back and did some minor adjustments to Rayland's stuff in Book 1. Mostly spelled out how he would start getting new saves against Ochymua's dominate.

Updated the document through to area A9

Updated the document through to the end of Part 1

Updated the document through to B7

Made some adjustments in the Book 2 document, most specifically replacing mentions of "gillman" with "Azarketi" (a name which I did not remember at the time of writing the document).

In the process of continuing to convert Book 6 right now.

Updated the document through to the end of Part 2

Updated the document through to the end of area D

Decided to take a stab at the final encounter while I was waiting for something to download. Ended up getting Ochymua statted out (though I already had that prepared, just not in the document) and get the basic skeletal structure of Jazradan's stats going (including a total of FIVE disintegrates! [nine if he exlusively Drains his Bond for disintegrates]).

Made some minor adjustments: In book 2 I made the Azerketis' Speeds 20 feet and swim 30 feet, as they should be, gave the Azerketi cannibals boarding axes instead of shortswords for thematic purposes, and increased the scrags' swim Speed to 35 feet. Also added in that Dahaaka cast air breathing on the scrag kings in book 5 because I just realized that they normally couldn't breathe.

Made some minor adjustments to the crimson musk willow in response to the recent Bestiary 2 errata that came out (because some wording for the yellow musk creeper's abilities got changed to be more fair to the PCs).

Updated the document through to the end of area E, with the exception of Harighal's spells, which I'll get to later.

And with today's work, I have converted all of Ruins of Azlant! Kinda. There's still a lot that's in Bestiary 3 that I'm waiting for, like troops and clockworks, but the big challenge of conversion has been handled!

Side note: I wanted to call one of Jazradan's abilities "Ghost in the Shell," but after seeing that that actually WASN'T a legitimate turn of phrase I decided against it (especially since it's bordering on copyright infringement).

Anyway, here's the link to the entire google drive folder where the documents are being kept (the extra two doc files at the end are just some copy-paste templates I have at the ready).

Did some quality-of-life stuff. I went through every statblock and made it more compact but still easier to read, making it in-line with how Paizo does their statblocks (with the exception of my shorthand for Strike damage). Made all ability names bolded, replaced all my weird ad hoc (re)action symbols with legitimate symbols, and so on.

Did a few more quality of life improvements; I made the various statblocks identical to Paizo statblocks (bolding, etc.) and got rid of some erroneous punctuation and shorthands. Still working on getting it done for Book 4 through 6, though.

Alright, I finished the statblock stuff for the rest of the books; I specifically used my own layout for Ochymua's and Jazradan's spells, as that fight will be complicated and I feel that my layout will be easier for me to read in the moment.

Updated the documents to include hyperlinks to the AoN stats of any creature referenced; the hyperlinks themselves also include different keywords ("variant," "weak," and "elite") for visual ease.

Just so you know, the link to the folder just links to the book 5 document!

Also, fantastic work and congrats.

SONUVA!!!

This link SHOULD work for the folder.

Alright, I apparently missed that the list of creatures in Bestiary 3 was released on the pawn box page (sans gargantuan creatures). I’m leaving myself a list of stuff that I need to modify in the documents once I get that book:

Stuff to keep in mind:
Azarketi explorer (?)
Cecaelia trapper (?)
Clockwork mage
Clockwork dragon
Clockwork soldier
Clockwork spy
Galvo
Globster
Gremlin, fuath
Incutilis
Locathah hunter (?)
Mezlan
Sahkil, wihsaak
Strix kinmate (?)
Vampire, nosferatu
Wyrwood sneak (?)

That means that I am able to properly go through some stuff in the documents and make adjustments (including, unfortunately, needing to make stats for clockwork golems).

Okay, I updated the documents with stats for creatures that I know won't be in Bestiary 3, such as the clockwork servant and clockwork golem.

Minor adjustments to Vallik and Harighal; I got access to the mezlan statblock in Bestiary 3 and wanted to update some stuff. I won't be deleting my personal statblock for mezlans until after Bestiary 3 hits AoN.

Got my Bestiary 3, so I’m adjusting some stuff. I’m not going to remove statblocks I’ve created until AoN puts the Bestiary 3 statblocks up, but I did change some some that was reliant on information in the Bestiary, such as the following:

Mutant galvo monstrosity
Galvo (since those came out in Bestiary 3)
Celedon of Acavna (made with the divine warden template)
Mob of angry colonists
Azarketi cannibals (kind of)
Hag’s eye oozes (kind of)
Necklace of air adaptation (kind of)
Helekhterie (removing her Hag’s Eye Vision)
Simplified all clockwork creatures’ Wind-Up entries, because that became a universal monster rule.
The cecaelia thugs
Uluuthan
The “Clockwork Angels” being something else
Pearl Prerogative Defenders

Did a minor adjustment to the blast shadows in Book 2, since their thematic niche was filled by the sulfur zombies in Bestiary 3.

With Bestiary 3 now on AoN, I updated the documents to now have hyperlinks to the creatures referenced in that book.

Went through each of the documents for a quick once-through and made some changes. Mostly some QoL stuff, but notably:
Lowered Brinetooth to level 4 to make her less of a threat and replaced her critical specialization with Dual-Handed Assault.
Gave some interesting abilities to the aeon golem
Created some Crimson Musk Brutes and reduced the willow’s level to 5, since level 5 is mathematically the most difficult level for some classes.
Made the giant bee swarm into a troop.
Removed Uluuthan’s mucus cloud.
Removed the clockwork nautiloid’s Rapid Repair
Increased Xochatli’s cold resistance to 20

Decided to do a last-minute adjustment in the choker hill: I changed Cragyr from a crystal dragon to a bauble beast, with an interest set of motivations.

This is amazing stuff. It will definitely help me make the jump to 2e as a DM.

I am GMing Ruins of Azlant as one of my first two AP's and I sincerely thank you for all of your hard work!

Wow, I am...genuinely surprised that people are still posting their appreciation here. Thanks, folks!

I haven't really been posting here very frequently because, well, I've been running Ruins of Azlant XD I have been making adjustments to the various documents, though; I just haven't posted them in this "changelog" thread because they've usually been super minor, changing a few numbers here and there and whatnot to allow for fairer play. The most notable changes that come to mind from this are reducing Wavewalker's resistance to 10 and dropping Onthooth to level 11 after my players had an absolute b*tch of a time trying to fight him (it's still definitely a severe encounter due to Onthooth's preparations and his much better swim speed compared to the PCs). I also modified Jazradan to be in-line with the Flexible Spellcaster archetype, since he is, y'know, an arcanist.

One of my players mentioned something about me putting these conversions on Pathfinder Infinite for a little extra cash, and I might do that for the next AP I'm converting (Crimson Throne), but for now I'm keeping the conversion of Ruins available to the public; lucky you ;)

EDIT: Oh yeah, I also reflavored Auberon to be (to use PC-building terms) a wizard with the inventor dedication, because no duh.

Been a hot minute, but time for another update:

Once again, I've just been making tweaks here and there to allow for fairer play. Notably, with the release of Book of the Dead, I made a few changes: one was replacing my weird ad hoc statblocks for the gholdakos in the Compass with the actual gholdakos' stats. The other, and one I've been going back and forth on, was to make Jazradan an elite fluxwraith. I did give him more abilities than a regular fluxwraith, but most of those are just abilities relevant to the story; the only non-story stuff I gave him was a casting of meteor swarm (because the idea of using a mini-Earthfall on Ochymua is too glorious) and at will disintegrate (that one may be a mistake, but it's one I'm going to stick with as an homage to his 1e stats).

My home group is just near the start of Book 6 (they just killed the linnorm at A1), so the official final version of my conversion of this AP should be coming to pass within the next few months.

Is there any way for the PCs to

Spoiler:
free people like Eliza and Arkley from Ochy's dominate effect? If not at that level, when can they
?

And with that, I have finished my Ruins of Azlant campaign. As such, the conversion documents are now in their final state; they will no longer be tweaked and updated.

Congratz on completing your campaign!

Now convert it to 5e! *cracks whip*

My party got totally shelled by the new Brinetooth last night: three PCs (level 2) were down and dying, including one at dying 3. They were saved when the last standing PC hit and then hit again with a crit with the second attack. The PC had maybe 1 hit left in them before a TPK. It was amazing--she had two of the mook grindylows with her, but they were down in round one.
