Hi there. I'm home on lockdown with lots of RPGs that I've never played. I want to change that. Anyone interested in joining me for a short, low-key PbP adventure? I'm happy to GM.

If you're interested, please give me a list of the games you've always wanted to play but never have and I'll let you know if I have them. We'll narrow it down to a half-dozen and then will vote. Sound good?

Yup, me too :) I never got to play it, but I love the hard sci-fi near-future setting, although system-wise I think others have done it better since then. GURPS did Transhuman Space, which I have as well.

I would be open to trying most anything once, but OSR, especially Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea has picqued much interest lately thanks to the Dungeon Muser. Low Fantasy Gaming, likewise, so I guess I’m interested in all, but will cast my votes on those two.

I should also be clear that when I titled this thread "Let's play something new", I meant to specify that I'd like to play something I haven't played before or in a long time. That means I won't be picking Pathfinder, 1st or 2nd edition. There are plenty of other games here on the Paizo forums where you can play PF.

As for votes I cast mine for Venture City. Fate can work as a pbp pretty well. Dungeon World would be my vote if you want fantasy but it really comes down to anything but Kult.

Both DW and Fate have that low key vibe you mentioned.

Hmm, I think I'd like to give Blades in the Dark a shot, though to be honest, I'd give Numenara a shot too. haven't played either of the.

I believe the player's handbook pdf is reasonably priced at RPG now. But I may have an alternative if need be.
