So i wonder which kind of build would be best to be a cowboy right out of a spagetti western.

Who wants to be the stranger who makes a point when you laugh about the cowboy's mule [insert correct species]...

Thinking out loud:
Soldier or Operative as classes? Alternative options?

The Outlaw and Bounty Hunter themes do sound great for the right feeling.

I would go for projectile weapons only, but having a few fusions for being able to overcome immunities would be necessary later i think. Oh and just a nice for the melee.

For Soldier the Hunter fighting style looks nice on paper, i would pair it with Bounty Hunter theme.

I need more input from you guys. I tend to get lost in details and lost track of the greater picture.

Edited because typoqueen.

If it ever becomes legal, the Pistol Dancer from the The Chimera Mystery AP would probably be good for a John Wayne-style cowboy, as it takes pistoleering to the next level. Granted, it was clearly based on Gun Kata from Equilibrium, but it works for an untouchable white hat gunslinger, too.

That really does look cool. Should that ever be legal for Society i will buy that Adventure Path just because.
Equilibrium... oh yes i remember that movie. :)

Well i think i will start with Soldier to be able to have pistols and rifles and my other Soldier which is themed a bit different and dexterity based is wearing light armour at the moment.
People told me to not have heavy armour on a soldier is a waste but i disagree.

I also asked around and a dip into Envoy and or going Operative was suggested. Envoy does sound great so possible my first character made out of two classes, for Starfinder!

My Nuar Technomancer became a Starfinder after falling in love with such cult classic vids as Wild Wild Vast and Blazing Starships.

He's a genuine space COW-boy.

I love your Technomancer!

I am deabting for starting gear at level 1 Utility Scattergun or Hunting Rifle. When i have one pistol then i have short range covered so Hunting Rifle gives me more options, on the other hand shotgun...

Handcannons seem to fit to that concept. Ouch maybe not at level 1, a bit expensive at character creation.
