Hi all,

I'm new to PACG and the forums here. I played 1st edition a bit on the iOS digital version but wasn't a huge fan - not sure if this was the digital game vs. hard copy or if I wasn't big on 1E. Anyway, I picked up 2E Core Box (with CotCT on the way!) and I'm loving it. I'm blazing through content and I expect I'll get through this expansion in short order. I've browsed the forums and it seems there hasn't been any discussion of future content or a road map for plans for future content. So I'm here to say...I need more PACG!!!! :)

We all feel the same way.

The link is bound to show up soon, but what we've heard is, they launched Core, CotCT and the new stuff for Organized Play all at the same time, and boy are their arms tired. They're taking some time to figure out their next step. (I secretly hope they're going to announce something in May at PaizoCon, but that's completely unsubstantiated guesswork on my part.)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for May then!

Same same.

Personally I hope we'll get some smaller expansions first, in the scale of class/ultimate decks (shorter development time, available sooner) to add incentive to replay Core and CotCT while waiting for the next AP or other big expansion.

For what it's worth, there are already official scenarios/adventures designed for use with the Core and Crimson Throne boxes.

We Be Heroes? (1.5 scenarios)

Fangwood Thieves (4 scenarios)

Bloodthorne Manor (4 scenarios)

So you could take a new party through 9.5 more scenarios, if you wanted.

You also have Year of Rotting Ruin, which is a full 24-scenario adventure using Core + Crimson Throne. (Or will be, when it's completely finished.)

Thanks I'll check them out!

Thanks so much for pointing out these adventure paths, I'll get them now so I can play them with my friends.

I don't really understand the pathfinder card society seasons thing. Are these adventures paths that we could run with our friends if we bought them?

I live in Manchester in the UK and there are no PACS games within hundreds of miles of me and none of my friends are interested in doing anything official but would I be able to get the adventure paths if I signed up? I find the explanation around society play really really oblique and confusing

Could I join the society by myself and get access to the adventure paths?

Eh if I should be posting this somewhere else please let me know and I'll move it and delete this post :O)

You're fine, Leamhnach! There are no stupid questions! :)

Those adventure paths are available for purchase for anyone who wants to run/play them. If you create a Pathfinder Adventure Card Society-compatible character (which means you're using one or more class decks or the recent Adventurer's Decks to make up your character deck) then you can play them for society credit, which means that you can sit down at any level-appropriate table in the world that's being run for PACS credit and play with that character. If you choose to do so, we have a LOT of online games that you can join in with, and there will be more games being recruited for pretty soon.

I'm sure my fellow venture officers will have more details they can give you, but for now, just know that we are committed to making sure anyone who wants to play PACG has the ability to do so (especially in today's crazy social-distancing world) so please feel free to ask us any questions you have!

You can play the scenarios using Society (organized play) rules but you are not required to do so. They’ll work just fine with home games as well, just ignore any Society-specific rewards (like bonus deck upgrades and character unlocks, since neither of those apply to home games).

You don’t need to sign up for Pathfinder Society to purchase those PDFs, they’re available to everyone.
