Technomancer needs more Magical Hacks - Possible?

Advice

Is there a way for Technomancer to learn more magical Hacks (such as by a feat)?

Dataphiles

There is not.

Wayfinders

You probably could homebrew an "Additional Magic Hack" feat, since these sort of class features like magic hacks and mechanic tricks are, per Owen K.C. Stevens himself, budgeted on the same power level as feats.

But by RAW there is nothing, no.

Sovereign Court

I think it's kinda telling that Starfinder has none of the following:

- extra mechanic trick
- extra revelation feat
- extra magic hack feat
- extra connection power/epiphany feat
- extra envoy talent/improvisation feat
- extra operative exploit feat
- extra biohacker theorem feat
- extra vanguard discipline
- extra witchwarper paradigm shift

I am 100% sure this is intentional, to help prevent Pathfinder style "one trick pony" builds. You are supposed to use different character build "resources" to broaden your character, not to stack up on one thing.

I actually would approve a house rule "Extra ____" feat in my campaign. . . but *only* for the purpose of regaining ____ that are lost due to taking an Archetype.

That, and/or 'you can only take this feat once'.

Character Operations Manual has an alternate class feature that lets you fake having more magic hacks at some cost. Hack Capacitor acts a little like the Adaptive Fighting feat but for magic hacks, and you have to give up the cache capacitor and resolve attunement class features to take it.
