The latest as of 1/6/20

"Things are coming together on the Kingmaker Anniversary Edition, with new members added to the team to make sure things keep moving along smoothly!

Adventures! This is the "heads down and keep grinding" phase of working on the adventures. All of them are assigned now, with new freelancers added to the project, like Dennis Muldoon working on Sound of a Thousand Screams and Tom Phillips on the prequel adventure, The Aldori Manor, based on the prologue section of the Owlcat Kingmaker CRPG. The other new adventure sections, Season of the Bloom by Steve Helt and Candlemere by Ron Lundeen are both at about the halfway point in writing, while David N. Ross has finished the first section of his freelance work on the Companion Guide and is well along now on The Cursed King. Right now we're deep in the work of conversion, so there are piles of ink and sawdust and stacks of "work in progress" pieces all gradually coming together, but none of the whole is going to be ready to snap into place for a while longer yet.

Companion Guide: Most of the Secondary Companions are in, and we've had some new folks come on to take over work on some of our Primary Companions to fill in but those are starting to come in as well. I've seen the first sets of stat blocks and mini-adventure content for Amiri and Nok Nok and they are looking like a lot of fun. The appendices with new and expanded rules for exploration, camping, weather and fantastical natural hazards, maps, and navigation are almost all in now and in the development pile to get worked on and make sure everything goes together nicely.

5th Edition and Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiaries: Almost all of the stat blocks are complete and ready to go for the 5E Bestiary, and once the compiling is finished we'll start assessing how much room we might have for additional content, such as play-through conversion notes or magic items. This book is primarily a book of monsters and NPCs, so there may not be a lot of room for bonus material, but if we find we have any spare pages we'll definitely put them to good use! The remaining stat blocks for the Pathfinder RPG Kingmaker Bestiary have been assigned and are well along toward completion, and this book is likely to have more space available than the 5E Kingmaker Bestiary, since it will need far fewer pages dedicated to monster stat blocks, so we are definitely looking at bonus content from the Companion Guide and/or adventure play-through notes that will make up the balance of the book. For the 5E and the Pathfinder Bestiary, there will be additional material added later once the adventure conversions are completed, including both entirely new adventures as well as any new material added to fill out areas of the existing adventures, to make sure everything creature and character in the Adventure Path has a 5E and Pathfinder RPG equivalent.

Kingdom Building/Mass Combat Rules: We've met with the Paizo team and are assigning out the work now for a ground-up rebuild of the kingdom and mass combat rules. While some terminology and concepts will be retained from the Pathfinder RPG version of those rules, we'll be building an entirely new system of mechanics to handle things, integrated from the get-go with the Pathfinder Second Edition downtime rules (and in a few cases exploration mode as well) and rules systems coming in the Gamemastery Guide for Second Edition. Jason Nelson, Alex Riggs, and Alex Augunas are the core team for working on these rules, adding in more fun stuff for each of our companions in the Companion Guide.

Thanks to all of you for your support of the project, and we look forward to having some more polished material ready to start showing off a few pieces hopefully next month!

I did'nt see any set street date but with all thats going into it might be hard to do needless to say.

Are we expecting this to show up in the Paizo store when it is released?

Everything but the extra Exclusive stuff (IE Pins and such) will be on here to buy as has been stated from them .

In the Paizo store when it releases

1. Pathfinder 2nd Edition Kingmaker AP (Hardcover 640 Pages)

A stunning 640-page hardcover, the Kingmaker Adventure Path provides GMs everything they need to run this epic campaign. All six chapters published in 2010 will be updated to Pathfinder Second Edition rules—including a new prologue making its tabletop debut in this release! Detailed appendices provide GMs with flavorful gazetteers of the campaign’s myriad locations, from the Stolen Lands at large to the rival city of Pitax.

The Kingmaker Adventure Path also features complete rules for hex-map exploration, kingdom building, and management to bring the campaign’s most innovative elements to life at your table. Lastly, a bestiary of new and updated monsters that feature prominently in the Adventure Path give GMs of any campaign new tools to torment their player characters with! The expanded adventure path also includes new material, including:

Barony Expansion: You’ll get a wealth of new tools, options, and encounters to complicate your players’ lives during the early days of their nation’s foundation. What strange events, dangerous complications, and unexpected boons await, and what effect might they have on the nation during its tender formative years?

Season of Bloom: A strange and frightening contagion spreads through your lands—people are getting sick, going mad, and ultimately bursting open as horrific monsters emerge from within to rampage through the kingdom! Can you cure this strange affliction and bring the Season of Bloom to a close before your nation falls apart from within?

Candlemere Dungeon: The ancient legacy of an eldritch god still holds sway. The deadly truths hidden away within the chambers below Candlemere will test your PCs to the very limits of sanity and life alike! Are the powerful treasures and ancient secrets to be discovered in the sprawling ruins below Candlemere worth the dangers your PCs will face, or are some things best left forgotten?

Cursed King: Take your Kingmaker PCs on their most deadly and dangerous adventure ever! With this expansion, the Kingmaker Adventure Path will provide enough content for your party of adventurers to reach the absolute height of power, finishing the campaign as 20th-level heroes... that is, if you can survive these final epic encounters!

2. Kingmaker Companion Guide (Hard Cover 128 pages)

The adventures don’t stop in Kingmaker’s core campaign. Inspired by the hit CRPG from Owlcat Games, the Kingmaker Companion Guide is a 128-page hardcover that expands on the experience by providing details on twelve companion NPCs who are destined to accompany you into the Stolen Lands. Each NPC in the Kingmaker Companion Guide is presented at several points during their adventuring careers, and as your PCs get to know them, each will reveal additional quests in the Stolen Lands, giving your party ever more opportunities to grow in power and fame. From the base campaign, sidequest adventures will be included for Amiri, Ekundayo, Jubilost, Linzi, Nok-Nok, Tristian, and Valerie.

Further rules expanding specialized roles in kingdom management, shenanigans that could take place around campfires or in taverns between adventures, and other downtime activities will help to fill the gaps between adventures and improve your characters’ and your kingdom’s legend with each friend you make!

3. Kingmaker Bestiary for D&D 5th Ed (Hardcover 160 Pages)

Be it the lumbering menace of a forest-dwelling hodag, the slime-dripping slurk, the overwhelming danger of the two-headed tarn linnorm, or the burbling power of the legendary jabberwock, these foes and more will surely vex, terrify, and torment an entire new arena of PCs.
