During this convention, we’ll also be offering the Pathfinder Special #10-98 The Siege of Gallowspire run by Overseer Dennis and the Starfinder Special #2-00 Fate of the Scoured God run by Overseer Tyranius.

Can I sign up to play in both specials?
You may only sign up for one special. If we need to fill tables closer to start time we may lift this .

Certainly! Just let your GMs and Players know. They’ll be glad to help.

How many games can I sign up to GM?
We are restricting how many games a GM can run to 3, but suggest caution. If this will be your first-ever time GMing PbP, we strongly recommend that you only do one game at a time. It’s more work than it looks.

How many games can I sign up to play?
We are restricting how many games per player to 3, this will allow everyone else a chance to sign up for what they want. As with the specials this may be lifted closer to the start date.

So it seems in the dropdowns there are only specific games able to be chosen. Is it possible to get a list if that is the case?

Keen to GM the SFS Special :)

Getting the 10 specials for 5 Novas is going to be an enormous chore, so keen to nab an opportunity if it arises!

I’m in to gm a pf1 special as well, as my third scenario. For now, I’ve selected the "I do not wish to GM a third scenario" option on the form.

The recruitment to GM the Specials was sent out at the end of December and a second reminder sent out in January. This way we could let those GM's know if they were chosen so as to choose scenarios when this opened.

If you are still interested shoot me a PM with what Special you are interested in as well as what tiers you are comfortable GM'ing and I'll see what I can do depending on the scenarios success conditions.

As of this time we're opting to keep player sign-up for Outpost games limited to FCFS (first come, first serve) on the spreadsheet and PbP Gameday as our more 'open' convention in terms of allowing pre-mustered/mostly pre-mustered groups to sign up to play.

Whereas I don't follow the discussion threads for the lodges, figuring that announcements for events would show up in the organized play forums, like this one did. If that means I'm too late to the ball, ah well and no worries.

Will do what I can to get you all in. We tried a slightly different approach this Con since one of the main complaints we were receiving was being identified as a GM for a Special later in the process led to several GM's signing up for more games than they expected and then getting overloaded.

So we tried to send out the Special form earlier to identify GM's just before the announcement so that they could adjust accordingly.

If it turns out that the Con needs more CORE games, I should be able to swing running "Overflow Archives" as CORE in addition to running it as a Standard-mode game, which I am doing now. It would make for my third game as a GM.

Yup, they are tucked away in there. Plus who could say no to an Adorable Big-Eyed Fey. We are working on rounding up another GM to help get a core table to the field for the PFS1E Special as well.

You can always submit more games to run, just keep in mind that the scenario support deadline has passed, which isn't an issue in your case as it is the same scenario.

    1/5

Sure mark me down for a CORE "Overflow Archive." That'll make 3 games.

    5/5

Somehow I completely blanked on when GM Signups were starting for this! I've just signed up to GM an additional SFS game using the form, if you don't mind adding it to the player signups list. Thankfully, I don't need any scenario support to run SFS stuff.

I think there was a mishap in the scenario drop. You have me listed as GMing Lions of Katapesh on the spreadsheet. However, The Glooming Catastrophe dropped into my downloads.

Either one is fine by me to run, I honestly do not remember which one I signed up for.

EDIT Disregard, I should be getting the other scenario soon in my Venture Agent drop. If we can just double check on the scenario I signed up for, it would be greatly appreciated.

The VO drop is usually the last week of the month, so i am not sure if it was intentional or not.

Paizo recently hired Tonya's assistant Alex, which looks to have greatly increased the time on receiving the scenario drops. This is excellent news. As of it being unintentional on Paizo's end I meant it from the side of the VO team not having you down for anything at all to do with Blooming Catastrophe.

May want to check you email again for Lions of Katapesh as I just received mine 10 minutes ago.

    Attention GM’s,

As you may have noticed, with the OPM Assistant position filled the Scenario Support has been sent out well ahead of the timeframe we have grown accustomed to. We are being allowed to send in a second one time only scenario support request. If you are looking to run additional games as a GM during Outpost then please continue to sign up on the link below to add games. (Please keep your games within your bandwidth and do not overstretch yourself. A Con is not the time to try and see how many games you can run.)

    GM Registration Form

The VO team will add any games starting from the 21st of Feb onto the form as well as any scenarios that any of you may have not received from the first submission. If you have not received your scenario you submitted then please send myself a PM so that I can get it added.

Keep in mind that this is a one time event and not to be expected on each convention as sometimes either ourselves or Paizo are up against a major Convention crunch time.

This new Scenario Support Deadline will be 05 March 2020.

    Hello Awesome Folks!

It's now officially midnight, March 2nd GMT and general player sign-ups for Outpost III: Puttin' on the Ritz are now OPEN! Remember, we're currently limiting sign-ups to 3 tables a person, which includes 1 Special. This may be subject to change later if we end up with several half-filled or empty tables but for now, 3 tables max, please!

Now go forth and fill those tables!

    Outpost III Player Sign-Ups

My first time GM'ing for PFS (although not my first time GM'ing PbP for PF). I am running a CORE level 1-2 module and already have 3 signups, so I thought I'd start getting ready.

I know how to use Google Docs for maps, quick-reference text boxes (e.g. Init/Perception), and so on. I'll set that up as soon as I get the scenario. The PFS reporting is new to me, though.

Is it correct that for Outpost, I do not need to Create an Event in the "My Organized Play" section? I'll just create a campaign thread by using "Add New Thread" on "Online Campaigns/Play-by-Post", and then report the game through the Outpost reporting link?

How will aid characters be interacted with during the special? I understand that the primary character is of course tied up with this mission during the length of the scenario, and thus cannot be used in any other pfs tables during that time (standard PbP pfs stuff), but are characters assigned to an aid role also subject to this restriction?

They should be because they can die.

Yes, aid characters are at risk, so I don't think they can be played elsewhere during the special.
