Vesk Venom and Vesk Natural Attack Damage Types

Is the existence of Vesk Venom evidence that vesk natural weapons don't cover all the damage types after all (bludgeoning for tail, piercing for bite, and slashing for claws)?

Vesk are always considered armed. They can deal 1d3 lethal damage with unarmed strikes and the attack doesn’t count as archaic. Vesk gain a unique weapon specialization with their natural weapons at 3rd level, allowing them to add 1–1/2 × their character level to their damage rolls for their natural weapons (instead of just adding their character level, as usual).

When was there ever an implication that vesk natural weapons gave all 3 kinetic damage types?

I'm pretty sure that's always been a house rule to account for the description of vesk martial arts.

I think there has to be an objective or at least universally agreed on underlying reality/answer in order to reach conclusions through implication and we really don't have that.

Lots of people on these boards considered that to be the case in the early days of Starfinder, HammerJack, though I don't believe it was ever confirmed either way.

With no mention of damage type in the baseline vesk's ability, I'd always assumed their natural weapons to be bludgeoning, as per normal unarmed attack.
So probably more of a tail slap or slam thing.

Other, admittedly more recent races, have explicit text changing their natural weapons to slashing or piercing, hinting at what bodyparts are used.
With no such language, I don't see why the Vesk specifically would get to choose. With now the option to go Venom for the possibility of piercing+poison while keeping bludgeoning as an option.

No one knows because after the vesk hit them they lose about 5 minutes of memory.
