Clarification for "Minor" and "Massive" Damage (PF 2e)

Rules Discussion

What exactly is 'minor' or 'massive' damage.

As an example, the rules for avalanche and burial are as follows;

"An avalanche deals major or even massive bludgeoning damage to creatures and objects in its path. These victims are also buried."

"Buried creatures take minor bludgeoning damage each minute."

but what do I roll?

Thanks.

Minor damage would be damage from a typical at level or lower attack.

Massive damage is kind of "defined" as enough damage to instantly kill a character.

Massive Damage

You die instantly if you ever take damage equal to or
greater than double your maximum Hit Points in one blow.

I just realized that there is also this table...

Moderate 4d6–6d6
Major 8d6–12d6
Massive 18d6–24d6
