Viralane (spoilers)

What did your party do with Viralane? Did they spare her or just kill her?(considering she pretended to surrender and then attacked already I could see them being distrustful when she really does give up.)

One of my groups had baraket successfully stolen by vira off tyalee's whim, she invited a party member to her room on the boat, corla shanked them and they viridian escaped with baraket. The party then killed her later in Hollow Mountain.

With the other group, Vira tried the same thing but another nosey party member followed to Vira's room, a fight broke out and Vira left corla behind. When the party met vira again in hollow mountain, they knocked her and Damil out after Hira used viridian escape.

Damil convinced the party to let him help them get through the rest of hollow mountain in return for safe passage back to Magnimar. They agreed, left Vira tied up and picked her up after they cleared hollow mountain. On the boat journey home, Vira played the sympathy act until the party took pity on her and even after she had betrayed them multiple times, they eventually they cured her curse and helped her make her big operatic comeback in Magnimar.

Damil has stayed with them ever since, as they gave him Baraket to use and he's happy to stab people with it so it's been a win-win for everyone so far killing yamasoth cultists together.

My party lost Baraket to Viralane after the player holding it failed a will save. She used her Viridian Escape, leaving Corla behind with my (now enraged) party. Luckily for the halfling, she was susceptible to charm person and so avoided what was likely to be a barrage of necrotic torture spells to give up any and all information about her former master.

The party is now just a session or two away from finding her in the depths of Hollow Mountain, and they have agreed in no uncertain terms that she is to be killed on sight. They were *incredibly* pissed when she stole their artifact, and she is going to get her comeuppance.

The only thing that may have an effect is Damil, but none of my party actually have the charisma to potentially get him on their side. But he will mostly likely fall, then I expect Hira Doss to fall in turn. Viralane, if the survives long enough to beg for her life, will find her words less effective this time.

Virilane escaped the initial encounter, although she left Baraket behind. When they encountered her in Hollow Mountain they killed her, animated her, and controlled her. Eventually she made her will check and ran away.
