Two questions about Simulacrum

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

So i saw another question on this spell and while i couldn't answer it prompted to me to ponder a few of my own.

1) Why is a lesser simulcrum not under your control but the normal one is?

2) If you created a simulcrum of a summoner could they summon their Eidolon or would you need to create a simulcrum of that seperately?

1) No-one knows. Lesser Simulacrum is pretty much pointless, barring niche situations.
2) It's a class ability, so your Simulacrum would have an Eidolon. Mind: the Eidolon is loyal to the Simulacrum Summoner, not to you. At least not directly.

Hmm that suggests some plot hooks, thanks for the reply.

A simulacrum of a Sarkorian 'godcaller' Summoner would be particularly funky. What does your 'god' think of the simulacrum's weaker version of itself? Does it find 'mini-me' to be amusing, contemptible, flattering, or blasphemous? :)

Scarab Sages

Every time you make a simulcrum of the Eidolon it mysteriously vanishes in the night because the actual god is amused by these little mini-me's and wants a collection of spares.
