First post on here, usually just forum creep till Xenocrat, Ravingdork, or BigNorseWolf comes in with a well explained answer to someone else's question so if i asked this in the wrong place let me know.

So scopes say you can look through them for a move action or you can do so as part of the sniper property move action when you aim for full range. A weapon scaffold says you can aim a sniper for its full range without using a move action if your using two hands instead of only the 1. Can you combine these effects and aim through a scope as part of the Sniper move action and not use a move action because your using 2 hands and a weapon scaffold?

I'm going to drop some quotes in here, for the sake of having exact wording.

Quote:
A scope is a telescopic sighting device with an incorporated reticle that attaches to a small arm or railed weapon’s top rail. A scope can’t be added to a weapon with a sight (see page 61). As a move action, you can aim through a scope. This can be done as part of the same move action required to aim a weapon with the sniper weapon special quality, or as part of a sneak attack where you do not take any movement even if you also aim a sniper weapon as part of that action. Aiming through a scope reduces penalties to attack rolls due to range as well as bonuses to AC from cover.
Quote:
If you wield a sniper weapon with two hands while using the scaffold you can use its aimed range increment without taking a move action to aim. If you drop the weapon (or it is successfully disarmed), the scaffold automatically folds away and stows the weapon for later use.

So, it looks to me like that does not work. You can use the scope as part of the same move action . You can use the full range without taking a special action due to the scaffold, but that means you've got no action to combine your scope use with.

Yea that is the wording that made me feel the need to ask, without actually using a move action to use the rifle wasn't sure id be able to use the scope.
