Discount Delay - Dead God's Hand

So I joined the Pathfinder/Paizo train shortly after second edition's release. I am subscribed to four lines, which I've been told will kick in the discount once I have something ship in every line.

This is a bit frustrating on its own, though I understand why we have to wait to show that all four sub lines are active before discounts. I'm mostly contented with my lot... except the winter releases are delayed even further. When I signed up, the discount was supposed to appear in January instead of March. Is there any way newer subscribers like myself can avoid paying the extra $15 or so caused by this delay?

I'll stick around either way, but I think it's worth asking. I'm already paying an extra $10ish I think for January because the Gamemastery Guide and DGH were delayed. Thanks.

Just checking in on this. I expect I'm not the only person waiting for the adventure line to see their subscriber discount. Any word on this or am I just still completely out of luck?

Customer Service responds to threads in the order they've been posted in; unfortunately, bumping your thread moves it to the back of the line. :(

Do you already own Fall of Plaguestone? If not, choosing to begin your Adventures line with that product will allow your fourth sub to kick in sooner.

Ah whoops, wasn't clear. I thought maybe since it was a week old that it had slipped through the cracks.

And yep, I got Plaguestone from my FLGS before I realized the benefits of a Paizo sub. I don't see much reason to buy another copy just to activate a similar-cost discount! Haha. Thanks.

Thanks for your patience. I brought this up with other folks in the company and we've begun looking into the issue. We appreciate this feedback, as we understand how this becomes a frustrating issue when our discount requirements conflicts with these delays. Sam, any updates on this? I've inquired also about upgrading my gamemastery guide to the deluxe edition while also keeping/not upsetting the discount, but if the discount won't apply by that time or if swapping editions will screw it up, I'll just continue as normal.

Please let me know if there is a way to initiate the discount in February and if there is also a way to upgrade GMG editions. Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have any desirable news on the progress of this. Thanks to you and other folks in your situation, we are discussing the obvious drawbacks when products are delayed, and if there are other ways we can track qualification for the discount.

Unfortunately its not looking like something we will be able to change immediately. If we have updates on this, we will be sure to post them in this forum.

As far as getting a a Special Edition for the GMG, we are hoping to have this option available soon, so please keep an eye out for that!

Thank you! I knew the discount was a long shot but I figured I'd be remiss not to ask.

Speaking of remiss not to ask, if the deluxe GMG is not technically my subscription, could I use the holiday discount code on it? Haha. Pretty sure I know the answer but I've got a wedding to pay for in two months, so I'm trying to keep from feeling guilty about buying shiny books in the meanwhile. :)

You're killing me, haha (in that I so want one of these options to work for you and I hate having to say our rules don't allow it). Unfortunately, since the special edition GMG would be a preorder item for as long as the Holiday Discount code is active, it won't allow you to use it on that, even if its purchased outside of a subscription.

Congratulations on your wedding and I wish we could make it easier on you to have all the wedded bliss and gaming bliss at the same time! Please let me know if you have any further questions.
