Roll 20 and VTT support

Paizo General Discussion

Vigilant Seal

I've been a long time player for many different games and have engaged in a number of different role-playing games since I was a young human being. In this last 5 to 10 years the availability of virtual table tops has greatly eased both dming and playing as it helps keep track of records better than just the standard pen and paper methodology. One of the things that I've been hoping for for a while is that there will be good support on one of the vtts for Pathfinder products including the adventure paths. Does anyone know if this is actually a thing or if this is something that's gone by the wayside while other things are getting sorted out?
Recently I completed a two and a half year campaign with one of my gaming groups based on the 5e version of dungeons & dragons and we were looking at picking up some of the Pathfinder adventure paths and were unable to find anything terribly well done on roll20 and when we looked at our other fall back which is forge, we were quite shocked to find that the support there is also a little lacking

What support are you asking for? Creating content for Roll20 is not the responsibility of Paizo. They already produced their product when it was published. If Roll20 wants to “sell” their platform, they need to provide content. There are some Paizo products available, including the Extinction Curse adventure Path, but it’s true there is a lot more for 5E than Pathfinder.

Our licensed VTT partners are Astral VTT, D20Pro, Fantasy Grounds, and Roll20. We have a relationship with Foundry too. Our licensed VTT partners has access to all our products and make their own decisions about what they bring to market. We are also working from our end to make our products more VTT compatible.

Thank you so much for your kind responses. I had not heard of d20 pro but I'll go look them up.

Yup, the VTT companies program it. Fantasy Grounds has probably The Most Pathfinder support, tons of 1st ed, and they are keeping up with 2nd Ed. Literally the primary reason I chose FG over the others was the vast amount of stuff they had ready to go for Pathfinder. (And they support other games I play: DCC, Call of Cthulhu, Starfinder, etc)

Yeah, Fantasy Grounds Ultimate user here. Super powerful with awesome Paizo products available to make things much easier.

Another Fantasy Grounds Unity user. Fantasy Grounds has a bit of a learning curve, I am still learning it. But it really lightens the load for a busy GM. Everything is right there for you. If you get the PDF's from Paizo you can get a discount if you link your account. That saves you a ton of money.
I have Foundry too, but I cannot vouch for it since I haven't used it yet, but I hear it is player friendly, and has a awesome fan support network. You can import your official pdf files.
