does a half medusa race exist?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I think it would be cool to have one. Maybe give them only one head snake and have their gaze stagger people instead of petrify them. (In case you were wondering how a human and medusa would mate: he could be blind.)

I have seen some 3rd party versions of such a race. I think one or more of Dreamscarred Press, Little Red Goblin Games, or Purple Duck Games did versions of that race.

A half-medusa would Rock!

Bastards and Bloodlines, a Green Ronin Publishing book for D&D 3rd Edition, had a half-medusa template.

Dreamscarred Press's BloodForge supplement has a Half-Medusa template for PF1.

I don't think it should be called Half-Medusa though. Half-Gorgon would be more appropriate I would think.

Half-gorgon would imply something resembling a metal-coated minotaur.

Oh my bad, I didn't even realize that Gorgon was a bull in Pathfinder. In Greek Lore, Gorgons are Snake-haired humanoids, and Medusa was just the given name of that particular Gorgon.
