So its fine to bite/tusk/tusk/gore/gore with your head, but you can't claw/claw/claw with each arm if you happen to have 3 pairs of claws on a single arm? That is terribly inconsistent. Especially considering how easy it is to get claw attacks.

I'm not saying that you should get multiple claw attacks per limb, I'm saying you shouldn't be able to produce a whole bunch of attacks with your head! It seems fine for a monster to do it, but giving the same flexibility to players results in...threads like this one.

Since it is the OP's goal to have as many different kinds of Natural Attacks as possible, maybe that Kasatha should have Claws on 2 hands and Nails on the other: Nails as in the Witch Hex.

Heather is already planning on taking levels in White Haired Witch, who don't get Hexes, so to do this she would need to dip into Hexcrafter Magus. She could get Prehensile Hair as well.

I'll keep it in mind. But I'm not going to try to get two hair attacks since that would definitely be considered using the same 'limb' so to speak.

And now I have a vision of a clawed, fanged monster with two pigtails.

lol

I made a picture for him. Monster

Nice!

That picture encompasses the entirety of this conversation.

The multiclassing should help your skills and saves. Your BAB might be behind, but the overall volume of attacks should make up for it (assuming you aren't playing critical failure cards)...

Thanks. And it definitely helps that almost all of the attacks are at full BAB.

A side question related to the Metallic Wings Feat Line

Angelic Flesh, what is the best flesh option?

I was thinking Silver or Steel, to give your attacks a metal type to help overcome DR but, I would really like to hear some more thoughts on it

All the natural attacks in the world do very little against decent damage reduction...

How to overcome it, indeed.

Expensive Amulets?

Monk? And all that would require...

Warpriest? Once again with its own requirements...

Gotta stay relevant somehow at high levels.

Can't rely totally on eating your buffer's spells, every time.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any DR/Steel monsters since that's what weapons are usually made of straight out of the gate. You'd want something that an opponent could actually be weak to like silver or cold iron.

I found out about a Shaman Hex that can give wings on another natural attack thread. Sounds a lot cheaper than a +5 armor bonus ability. And I won't need Craft Magical Arms & Armor using that. I can switch out the third level of Witch for Shaman instead and then retrain Magical Knack for a different trait.

its certainly cheaper, but it's also only 1 minute per level per day and you'd have to spend your first round activating the hex.

As for DR, unless you're having to deal with DR/- an amulet of mighty fists should be sufficient. Just pump it up to a +5 bonus and you can bypass most DR you're likely to encounter. What's more it would give you +5 dmg to all of your natural weapons which helps reduce the effectiveness of any DR you can't overcome.

There is also the feat Eroding Strikes which would let your later attacks (in that round) ignore the creature's DR all together, assuming you have more bludgeoning attacks than it has points of DR.

edit: it is worth nothing that while a witch can't pick up the shaman hex wings, a shaman can pick up the witch hex prehensile hair. Meaning you wouldn't need any levels in witch and could make them all shaman levels.

Yeah, but the regular hair attack has 10 foot reach, which would cripple pounce. The attack from White Haired Witch is only 5 feet so pounce works. I'm going to keep White Haired unless the GM says I can't use it but can use regular hair attacks.
