Hi Guys,
So excited to finally see the 2nd Edition... well kinda late for me actually, but I'm still optimistic to the idea of new adventures that lies ahead.
So to start with, I would like to purchase the Pathfinder 2nd Edition Core Rulebook pdf, but would like to know if I will be downloading the copy with the errata incorporated or I still get the original pdf copy and I need to download the errata separately?
Would love to hear them incorporating the erratas.
Thanks.
Pete

Paizo doesn't update the pdf with errata regularly? That's highly disappointing. That's always one of the things I like about pdfs of rules - many companies update them with errata regularly (so no looking at separate errata).
They do it regularly (or did during PF1’s run, anyhow).
It’s not often enough, for some, but it was reasonably regular (especially early on in the edition’s run - my memory was there was a new printing roughly annually for the first four printings, though admittedly my memory of events ten years ago is often unreliable)..

I'd imagine it can't be more than a half-hour's work to add annotations on the pages that require alteration, copy & pasting from the errata document. I get it that's you needing to do the work, but it's a reasonable investment at this point if you really need in-line errata.

Don't security settings prevent you from altering Paizo PDFs in any way?
1} I don't think that annotations (comments) via Adobe Reader require special permissions, but I could be wrong.
2} I cannot advocate circumventing DRM so I will not advocate circumventing DRM. Instead I will advocate adding annotations to the existing PDF.

Unrelated to the OP's original question, but related to the official errata...
I've been updating my physical book with the official errata using a Scotch Restickable Glue Stick, I'm about half way through so far, I was unsure exactly what to do for the 4 spellcaster dedication feats, I think I understand the gist of it, but am unsure how to edit the text to incorporate the errata.
Also, I had to write out the section dealing with adding spell slots, and spell repertoire on my PC, and reprint it as there was no easy way to insert the text otherwise, which got me thinking...
It would be nice If Paizo wrote the errata in a way that you can just print/cut/paste the errata right into the book, I mean I've been doing it ok, but in some instances it's just really fiddly or nigh on impossible to add the extra lines of text because there is some overlap with next sentence.

It would definitely be clearer if the errata included entire re-written paragraphs that you could paste into a book, but that would come with the negatives of having to wait longer for the errata because it'd have to go through layout to ensure that the new text fits into the physical space of the pages, and the errata document itself would become much more sizeable which can make it feel less manageable.
