Question about Master of the Fallen Fortress

I've been scratching my head over why Alain, the cavalier, has a perception of +4. Can anyone explain this to me? I have him at +1.

You can't actually use those particular Pregens for Society. They were rolled out to introduce the Advanced Player's Guide. I believe there's an error with the Witch, as well (or her familiar).

There is an up-to-date version of Alain that can be found with the other APG Pregens (Levels 1, 4 & 7).
