Advice

Hi all,

Im not the best at optimizing, but I certainly love playing powerful monstrositys. I was hoping you could all suggest the hardest hitting multiclass character you can think of. If its MCing into 5 different classes that's fine, as long as the character is hitting massively, Im not talking about home runs, I wanna hit grand slams my friends. Please help me create this Juiced up Mark McGuire of a character :)

Highest flat damage bonus in the game: Giant Instinct Barbarian.

Best chance to crit: Fighter.

Highest weapon damage on crit: Grievous Greatpick.

Highest damage without variance: Heavy Crossbow Ranger, Precision Edge, Perfect Shot.

Other than the weapon, none of those things can be combined. Which is the nice ting about PF2.

Best thing you can do is probably a Greatpick wielding Giant Barbarian with a Precision Edge Ranger sidekick for Shared Prey.

Beyond that, the best damage booster you can get via multiclassing is probably a Bear animal companion. And you could add cleric dedication for Emblazon Armament/Energy and either Divine Weapon or Align Armament. You could in theory use both but if you also add the Animal Companion, you'll run out of actions and can't attack unless you're hasted.

So, a Giant Instinct Barbarian with Druid and Cleric Dedication, I guess?

Great Pick Fighter + Weapon Surge + Power Attack. Should be something like 7d12+8 for a crit at level 4. For Weapon Surge you need to Mc into cleric or champion.

Obviously you don't have a lot of focus points.

Expectation Management: PF2 doesn't let you go as crazy with damage as PF1 did. If you're looking at DPR Olympics Winner kind of character, you will be disappointed - you can pull nice numbers that are slightly above a non-optimized PC, but you won't be looking at as big discrepancies as you could do in PF1.

I think he wants to have "big hits" and not a build that does high average damage.

Pick a Pick.
That's it.

Be a Giant Barbarian, pick Great Pick as the weapon, get Champion dedication for Zeal Domain and Fighter for Power Attack, be under 50% HP and have Reckless Abandon.
