Solarain: Stellar Rush then Move?

Rules Questions

Can a Solarain take a standard action to use the Revelation: Stellar Rush and then after finishing that standard action (Stellar Rush) take a Move Action?

Everything I've read makes this look doable. It's just that I'm used to having your turn end at the end of a charge type action.

Unless you guarded step or bull rush them out of reach, if you move after a Stellar Rush, they'll probably get an AoO on you.

But yeah, you can move after a rush.

and backwards?
First move and then stellar rush with double movement?

Yep, that's the plus side of stellar rush (and the blitz soldier's similar ability). You can set up a charge attack easier. The charge attack must be in a straight line after all.

There are other combos of course, plasma sheathe comes to mind, but primarily it's to enable getting into melee range as fast as possible.

Hello people,
I'm going to take advantage of this thread for another question about Stellar Rush.
(It shows that in my group they are not a fan of the Solarian if I ask two apparently basic questions in more than a year)

Quote:
you can substitute a bull rush for the melee attack at the end of the charge. If you attempt this bull rush , the target takes 2d6 fire damage (Reflex half), regardless of whether you succeed.

My question is,

What type of attack deals fire damage?
The melee attack (vs KAC) or combat maneuver (vs KAC+8)

Thanks

"Regardless of whether you succeed." Neither. The rush attempt itself does the fire damage, regardless of success, but only if you try a bull rush. If you charge and attack normally you don't get the fire damage.

If you do succeed on the bullrush you're entitled to an attack of opportunity as you knock them out of your threatened space, but that's separate from the fire damage issue.

Thanks
