Wizard Unarmed Proficiency

Rules Discussion

As per errata: "Your proficiency in simple weapons is also what your proficiency in unarmed should be, including the wizard. Monk is an exception as they are better at unarmed."

Does it mean that a wizard has no proficiency in the unarmed strike?

No, I believe they mean the Wizard's proficiency in class weapons should also apply to unarmed. That errata is not the official wording; we should be seeing that soon(ish).

Wizards are Trained in Unarmed Strikes at 1st level. According to the CRB, that proficiency never increases. The unofficial developer comments suggest that their proficiency with Unarmed Strikes will become Expert at level 11. As Xethik stated, we don't have any official errata yet. Here is my current understanding of the correct weapon proficiency rules.
