6 level 4 or5 vs 2level 4 beserking orcs.... too much to handle?

Advice

So I have 2 half orc brothers that will be coming into contact with the party soon. They Re exact replicas of each other. There strength is 18 and Con is 16 and 14 charisma when not raging. They both have power attack and amplified rage. Rage powers superstition and lesser spirit totem. They also wield great axes. Potential damage a round is 1d12 +18 and 1d4+2 each.

the party consists of 5 lvl undead lord,
4 level rogue, witch doctor, druid, barbarian, and bard.

thoughts?

Seems reasonable-if-challenging to me. A lot will depend on the environment or the party's tactics. I would, for example, expect the bard to be able to grease the great axes and thereby reduce the berserkers to little more than punching bags, given opportunity and good judgment.

On the other hand, if the party is ambushed, there's a good chance someone will die.

It wont be an ambush. The bard is super newb to rpg's so will most likely sing and then shoot.

CR 5 ish encounter for a party that's ECL 7 or so. They should manage just fine, though as always with axes there's a chance of Crit, you're dead. (Not a high one, with 4th level characters, if they were smart enough not to tank Con, but it is there.)

There will be tears if they roll a crit. Hopefully your party is seasoned enough to take big hulking foes bearing greataxes seriously.

Just making sure. Thanks for your help. Yeah a crit (3d12+54) damage could ruin a lot of days.

I'm missing something, I'm not familiar with barbarians or their abilities. What's giving them an x3 crit instead of x2?

Never mind, I saw greatsword not greataxe.

Lol. Np
