Yes, it does. I had been thinking Form Control is always "on", but it requires an action, so that thinking was in error. :-)

I imagine when Chesh reaches 18th level, his first priority will be to take Perfect Form Control. :-)

Most certainly.

He might even retire at that point, losing himself into his new form until such a time as a brave adventurer can bring him back long enough to fullfill a small but pivotal part of some greater destiny.

Hm. Should Chesh have Wild Morph? Yeah, it's a given for druids who take wild order, but the dedication says you get access to those spells, not that you get the spell. And HeroLab didn't give it to him. :-)

I would think he gets Wild Shape from Basic Wilding, and Form Control from Advanced Wilding. What did I miss?

No, I think you've got me there.

I read the relevant rules 10 times during the creation process and it still got through somehow. Part copy/paste error from another druid and part making characters too late at night I guess. XD

Thanks for pointing it out. *Fixed*

He'd only have to be level 36 first, is all. XD

Yeah, I forgot about the archetype's "divide by 2" requirement. :-)

NEW CHARACTER!

Auja Rose, cursed bride (N female wintertouched human emissary sorcerer 10)

"It's rude to gawk at a lady in such a manner."

Princess Rose was as beautiful and exotic a bride as ever could be murdered during her wedding. Returned to life with a heavy curse and strange powers over life and death, she now travels the edges of the world in search of a means of ridding herself of the affliction and returning to her normal life.

TWO NEW CHARACTERS PLUS CHARACTER REVISIONS!

Soumral, chirurgeon and warlord (CG female seer elf aspiring river monarch alchemist 9)

"Armies are like plagues: terrible, but ultimately predictable. One only need learn their patterns. Devising a means of systematically eradicating them then becomes a matter of course."

Soumral (pronounced "SOOM-RALL," rhymes with ZOOM HALL) has more or less co-opted Caladrel's backstory (with some revisions) and so is meant for a Kingmaker game or any adventure taking place within the River Kingdoms are their surroundings. As with any character, you are free to make up your own bio, and play the character anywhere or in any way you wish.

Caladrel now has a new backstory detailing her past as a lost child of the Goblinblood Wars who was trained to be a Devil Nun by the Sisters of the Golden Erinyes.

I may touch up one or both bios later to differentiate them further from one another.

I also have a new 1st-level variant of Caladrel and a second new character, both geared for people wanting to play in the Age of Ashes adventure path:

Caladrel, long range messenger (CG female woodland elf reputation seeker monk 1)

"You could never imagine the hideous level of pain we were trained to inflict upon others—trained to ourselves endure."

Rassh, freed iruxi slave (N male cliffscale lizardfolk emancipated fighter 1)

"The world is different now. It is far more glorious than I could possibly have imagined from behind the confines of slavery."

Enjoy!

The last two are perfect, just add two more and I'll have a complete pregenerated party for the Age of Ashes series.

Oh, you mean like...

NEW CHARACTERS!

Daruk, clan traitor (CG male death warden dwarf criminal ranger 1)

“He’s adorable ‘int he?”

Pretty sure his name is pronounced "DAR-OOK."

Yulia Nikiforov, doomsday prophet (NG female half-elf haunting vision cleric 1)

“Follow your dreams, for they are given to you through Desna, and hold her wisdom for your future.”

Her name is pronounced "YOU-LEE-AH NICK-IF-OR-UV" I think.

(Caladral, Daruk, Rassh, and Yulia are actually our own Age of Ashes party as they stand currently. I'm playing the monk.)

Excellent! Thanks for these, Ravingdork.

Great work! However, Arrow Proof has the cat special ability.

Thanks for catching that. I've removed the ability.

Where did Caladrel’s expertise in jungle lore come from? Seems an odd skill for her, given the rest of her new backstory.

That's from her Reputation Seeker background.

You're trained in the Survival skill and the Darklands, Desert, or Jungle Lore skill. You gain the Terrain Expertise skill feat (underground if you have Darklands Lore, desert if you have Desert Lore, or forest if you have Jungle Lore).

I would have preferred Forest Lore I think, but what can ya' do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Paizo Superscriber; Pathfinder Companion, Pathfinder Accessories, PF Special Edition, Starfinder Accessories, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber

Yeah, Forest Lore makes more sense thematically, on the face of it. <shrug> No big deal, I guess.

Horizon Hunters

Cheers for the Lv1 options Ravingdork! I'm actively starting up a PFS lodge, and having well laid out pregens with art and a background makes it quick to give more variety to the group.

Just a quick skim to look for non-PFS legal options and you're away laughing.

If you did a Patreon, I'd probably back.

(By the way - you present them to be used "as-is" but including the level up choices would allow a Lv9 NPC to be used anywhere from 1-9. It's not perfect, as some magic items make the character, but is helpful to people like me.

I keep Excel Sheets for all of my 2E character build progressions up to their current level. It would be a simple matter for me to link them. Are there any in particular you'd like to see?

Horizon Hunters

All non lv1 options would be great. If you put them in the google drive I'll sort through them and have a look.

Re: Patreon, I should have looked! You've got a new sub sir.

Well, might as well post all of them then. XD

BIG LINK O' CHARACTER PROGRESSIONS
(This link should allow access to all future character progressions as well.
Some progressions go beyond the character's current level, but most don't.)

Enjoy everyone!

This is wonderful, this work is phenomenal!
Is there a problem if I share the forum link on the Brazilian Pathfinder 2 group on Facebook?

Not at all! The whole point of the Emporium is to share concepts, ideas, and inspirations! Everyone is invited to share it with whomever they want.

(And occasionally a useful tool or two.)

How does Jensen have three True Strikes prepared? Wouldn't that require Arcane Breadth?

Also, in light of the errata touching on staves, I'm presuming her max castings of True Strike per day has reduced somewhat?

Her ring of wizardry type I gives her extra spell slots.

Dazhbug wrote:

Yes, with the clarification from the errata, the final total is only 10, not 13 as I previously believed.

1 base slot (1st-level slot)
1 base slot (2nd-level slot)
2 bonus slots (ring of wizardry I)
3 staff charges (staff of divination)
3 bonus staff charges (by expending 3rd-level slot)
10 TOTAL POTENTIAL TRUE STRIKES PER DAY

(Note that with her spells prepared as listed, she can only cast true strike 6 times per day, or 9 times if you assume she dropped haste when preparing the staff.)

Thank you.

Here's the errata for the first printing of the Core Rkebook.

In respect to Staves, it says the following:

Here's the errata for the first printing of the Core Rulebook.

In respect to Staves, it says the following:

Page 592: Under Staves, change the fourth sentence to “Many staves can be found in multiple versions, with more powerful versions that contain more spells—such a staff always contains the spells of all lower-level versions, in addition to the spells listed in its own entry.”

Page 592: Under Preparing a Staff, in the second sentence change “highest level of spell you’re able to cast” with “highest-level spell slot you have.”

Much obliged for the quick response, sir!

Any chance we might see some leshy characters sometime soon?

As I try to cover as much ground as possible, it's likely inevitable that you will at some point. I just need to come up with a concept I like first.

Well, wouldn't you know it. I got inspired.

NEW CHARACTER!

Maple, walking fortress (CG female personality gourd leshy farmhand champion 9 of Cayden Cailean)

“Hey monsters! Come at me if you dare!”

Encouraged to try something new by her friends, Maple left her cabbage patch at an early age to begin a life of adventure. Eager to join her friends at Lastwall, she joined up with the Knights of Ozem. Fearing pain, however, she all but found the secret to invincibility! Just put your all into defense, grab a really big shield, and just keep piling on the armor until you can’t even move. That works, right?

Paizo Superscriber; Pathfinder Companion, Pathfinder Accessories, PF Special Edition, Starfinder Accessories, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber

Of course. :-)

Well they're just sprouting up all over the place!

NEW CHARACTER!

Sally, Firebrand swashbuckler (CG female personality leaf leshy martial disciple swashbuckler 9)

“You may worship me.”

An experienced adventurer and veteran Firebrand, Sally travels the world in order to constantly test her own abilities. The more daring and dangerous a task, the more fired up it makes her. Rather vain, she keeps several trophies and other keepsakes with which to show others and lend weight to her words when bragging about her past exploits.

NEW CHARACTER!

Etari the Magnificent, actor and stage magician (N male versatile human entertainer rogue 7)

“Behold the incredible skills of a master.”

Etari the Magnificent (never just Etari) is a life-long circus brat with knife skills and a penchant for putting on roles that mask his true identity as a high functioning alcoholic liable to get someone killed.

Yesssss, more circus characters!

Where are the bard pieces of Etari (the Magnificent) coming from? I don't see a Bard dedication feat anywhere.

Harr, I more meant I didn't see an entry for Bard Dedication on Etari's sheet under Class Feats and Abilities.

It appears to have been left off by mistake. I'll see about getting that fixed right up. Thanks for the catch.

NEW CHARACTER!

Galanost Laetalal, old blackguard (CG male ancient elf nomad champion 5 of Nocticula)

“There can be a place for you. You only need cast away the darkness within.”

Galanost spent much of his life serving evil dragons as a warlord and blackguard, terrorizing the people of Tian Xia. Now, in his old age with his draconic masters vanquished and everything he ever took for himself having been taken from him in turn, he walks a new path of redemption. Born again from the desert wastes of the Crown of the World as a champion of the demon goddess, Nocticula, he now sees his new mission with perfect clarity: save Eurythnia--and the rest of New Thassilon--from a dark future full of war and darkness.

Designer's Note:
I made this character for an online game I'll soon be taking part in, but also to demonstrate how two nearly identical 2E character builds can result in two VERY different characters. With the exception of his heritage, deity, and gear, Galanost is essentially a carbon copy of Shiso Dafoe, had he been 5th-level rather than 16th.

Enjoy!

Horizon Hunters

Cheers for the new char! Champion/Sorcerer gives a lot of wiggle room because the deity/spellcasting tradition can change the feel quite a lot.

Big fan of using Nocticula for an off the wall deity as well.
