Butchering Axe of Impact

Rules Questions

Hello everybody

First, my english is not perfect so sorry for that :D

Im playing for now 1 Year Pathfinder with my Friends and i am always not good in these Pathfinder Math ^^

I have the following for this Math necessarie Feats (I think they are ^^ )

- Improved Vital Strike
- Exotic Weapon Proficiency
- Improved Devastating Strike
- Power Attack
- Improved Critical

I want to build a Butchering Axe with Impact¨:

A Butchering Axe makes 3d6 and with Impact 4d6
With Improved Vital Strike 8d6 extra Damage and +6 from Improved Devastating
[[8d6+6]]

I have a Crit Mult 19x3 from Improved Critical and Damge Mods are +21 so the Total Damage is 27

Is my Math correct?

Thanks for your help friends :)

And have a nice evening

yes except its just vital strike for the first feat, improved vital strike is X3 and greater vital strike is X4

So an impact butchering axe is 4d6 base, with vital strike 8d6, with improved vital strike 12d6, with greater vital strike 16d6.

If you enlarge yourself it becomes 6d6 base, with vital strike 12d6, with improved vital strike 18d6, with greater vital strike 24d6.

Two things:

1. I assume you have Devastating Strike as well, since it's the feat that actually gives a damage bonus. Improved Devastating Strike improves attack rolls, not damage rolls.

2. Devastating Strike only adds +4 in this situation--+2 from the extra weapon damage dice roll Vital Strike gives you, and +2 from what Improved Vital Strike gives you. (The bonus is per set of dice added, not per die.)

The rest looks fine, assuming the damage mods were added correctly.

Those numbers also work if you can use an oversized one somehow

If you can get enlarged AND use an oversized one its 8d6 base, 16d6 vital strike, 24d6 with improved, an 32d6 with greater VS

I feel like the effort to get an enlarged oversized one is too much vs simply being an abyssal bloodrager with an exotic weapon proficiency.

Still. Also already running an exotic rareish weapon...hunting down oversized upgrades....meh

Or just be a fire giant king with levels in oracle (battle mystery) and antipaladin...

I'm evil.

Screw enlarge person, get a giant hide armor keyed to a storm or cloud giant. Get straight to gargantuan size, regardless of your previous size category.

In which case we're at 16d6 on a hit, 32d6 vital, then 48d6 and finally 64d6 with gargantuan and impact but not oversized. If you can oversize it were at 20d6, 40d6, 60d6 and 80d6
