Human versatile heritage, can one take a General skill feat or just a "general" feat

Rules Discussion

Looking to see if this heritage could give one of my players a general skill feat or just a General feat.

I've seen a few posts that anything tagged "general" works not just a general feat.

But looking for what you guys think.

Thanks

Tom

Yes, you can always use a general feat on a skill feat. You cannot use a skill feat slot on a feat that only has the general trait and lacks the skill trait, however.

Since p255 states that skills feats are a subcategory of general feats, you should be able to take a general skill feat in that slot

Thanks gang that will make my player very happy and now I know whats up with this specific case :)
