The iconics

I've been trying to figure out who all the iconic characters are, at least the ones created by Paizo. So far, I've found these:

Core classes: 11 iconics for these 11 classes from the CRB.
Base classes: 6 iconics for the 6 base classes from the APG. 1 for the base class in UM*. 3 for the 3 in UC. 3 of the 10 base classes in the ACG. So we're missing seven, which I guess just haven't been published yet. That's okay, waiting is...

I've seen no iconics for prestige classes, and I'm guessing we won't see any. It would be hard, since there are so many options for those classes.

I've seen no iconics for multi-classes either, but again, I suspect that's just too hard, given the huge number of options for multi-classing.

Mythics? Again, not expecting any.

Summary: 24 of 31 base (including core and alternate) classes have had iconics published. Have I got this right? I didn't include the anti-paladin, so maybe it should be 24 of 32 classes. Did I miss any others? (Not concerned about third party classes, although I'd be happy to hear about them).

*Seltyiel seems to be a special case. As I understand it, he was originally a multi-class fighter/sorcerer, at some point was a fighter/wizard/eldritch knight, and when UM came out, became the iconic Magus. Interesting retcons. :-

Liberty's Edge

There is no Antipaladin Iconic and no plans for one. And you're right on numbers (though we'll be getting another per week until it's 31/31).

Seltyiel the Iconic Magus, as you note, was originally the Iconic Multiclass Character and the Iconic Prestige Class Character (though, for the record, he was never a Sorcerer, having always been a Fighter/Wizard). Indeed, he still holds both titles, somewhat by default. Indeed, I believe at least one Paizo staffer commented that he might still be both (having gone Magus/Eldritch Knight...which is a legal choice, and has some advantages given Eldritch Knight is full BAB). Again, just for the record.

And there are Mythic versions of all the existing Iconics, found inthe various Mythic books, rather than new Iconics for Mythic.

So...basically, you're pretty much completely right.

Thanks, Vic. I did read those, at least enough to identify which class they were. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. -)

We do have 31 iconics, yes. (There are some who discount the Ninja and Samurai because those are technically not base classes, but alternate classes for rogue and cavalier respectively... but regardless of how you count their classes, they still have iconic characters.)
