Starfinder Book Bindings

Customer Service

I bought my Starfinder book when it first came out in a bookstore and almost immediately had issues with the binding. Our DND group had a falling out and we were never able to use it. But now we have a new group and I am going to start DMing for it and rediscovered the binding issue. Is there anything that can be done about this issue still with the binding? I was looking into book binders in my local area but no one does just 1 book.

Thanks
Zatoxic

Paizo have a process for this but it involves going through the place of purchase in the first instance.

You should start with the store you bought it from first (who can replace your book then send it back to their distributor for a replacement and so on up the chain...) Unfortunately, some store owners don't know that that's the process.

If they're unwilling to help you, you should take a photo of the spine issue and email it to customer.service@paizo.com outlining when and where you bought it and the fact the shop isn't willing to replace the defective book and they will go from there.
