So a lot of people would just do Summoner and be done with it, but that doesn’t work. Deathtrap is clearly an artificial being, and doesn’t evolve much, if you can even call his upgrades evolving.

Gaige also doesn’t really do much of the whole summoning other creatures thing.

But what she does have is a robot arm. There is actually a class like this. Magus Jistkan Artificer.

But what about Deathtrap? Simple. Just make a Shield Guardian Golem with Craft Construct. Deathtrap may be super advanced compared to other robots, but there is literally a set of rules for doing this with constructs: Construct Modifications. Make him a Commando Construct, give him weapon modifications to his natural attacks for Shock (or later Shocking Burst), maybe a Rune of Lightning, and Fly speed.

Boom. Deathtrap.

So does this look right? It’s been over 2 years since I last played Borderlands 2, and my Playstation 3 is broken, so I can’t test her out to refresh my memory.

try the vanguard from path of iron by ascension games for another class idea as well

The mechanical arm is just a gimmick. it doesn't really matter for her actual abilities since her mechanical arm in lore is mainly a device for digistructing Deathtrap.

Her skill trees can be summed up as: defensive, make death trap more bad ass/shock element, and anarchy. Almost all of Gaige's offense is from using guns. Especially rapid fire weapons, which there is no equivalent of in Pathfinder.

Anarchy is really easy to mime in pathfinder. It sums up as drop accuracy to increase damage. So just take Deadly Aim.

The line for making Deathtrap more powerful just means spending more gold on your construct. It can also mean either making your own weapons have shock or using lightning based abilities.

Defense line: not really visible so not something you have to worry about.

Overall you could either do this as a Gunslinger, or more appropriately as a Magus (Eldritch Archer). The main thing that will be difficult is coming up with a reason the Construct disappears. You can use an item with Summon Construct to get it, but making it go away is more difficult. To do that you really do need Deathtrap to be an Edilon.
