Second edition PFS

Pathfinder Society

Has much been announced about this yet?
When do the scenarios come out for it?

I would like to think it starts more straight forward than in 1E with everything allowed (as in the game designed with PFS partially in mind)

Current PFS has somewhat of a barrier to entry with all the banned stuff that needs researching

I am interested both because I would like to try and build up credit this time round but also shorter scenarios seem like a better way of getting people interested...

Please point me the right place if this is discussed somewhere - potentially my eyes glazed over it at some point

Scenarios start releasing at GenCon, and we'll be releasing two PF2 scenarios and 1 PF2 quest every month, at least through December (since we're still getting a feel for how the monthly quests are going to work for everyone). We'll also have a 5th level pregen special available at GenCon.

Quests? That sounds new - has that been discussed in any more detail elsewhere ? Or was it something that appeared in late first edition?

We've been doing quest packs (packets of 4 linked 1-hour adventures) for a few years now, but these standalone monthly quests are new.

Dates and descriptions for the upcoming season's initial offerings can be found here.

I'm never able to finish PFS scenarios in 4hrs, seems ridiculous for my groups. ALWAYS hype for quests though! Hoping to see them at wider level ranges this time around
