I have the least luck with Silent. Usually with defect(robot guy), I can ice or lightning around, and ironclad I just do massive block + body slam. Silent poison decks usually don't pack enough defense and shiv decks using cloak and dagger don't do enough damage. Besides its multi mob attack sucks.

Well I've gotten all 3 to the 2nd boss now but have yet to beat him.

Eggplant Lagsana?

Looks good but I don't see a red sauce. Not sure if it counts as lasagna without the red sauce.

The Exchange

Well all I had was 2 tomatoes. So I guess I had to make do =P Its the make your own tomato sauce day!

I usually go with pre-made but I do want to work on my own sauce. Its just time consuming. One day.

I need new dice...

Today I lost my almost favorite paladin character thanks to the DM rolling (and confirming) a crit with a freaking OGRE hook. Goddamn inbred giants keep killing my characters. First Krishnor dies at the hands of a Marsh Giant with a harpoon... now Sir Elderan Darahan...

Fish hate me.

My favorite dice are my game science dice. I enjoy them for their simplicity.

also if it was your DM's roll that killed you why do you need new dice? Sounds like you need to curse your DM's dice to me. Try coughing on them when he's not looking...

Vid,

I guess it's because I rolled the nat one on the save moreso than him getting the critical...

Ah ok that's fair then. Time to break out the grinder.

Well I'll break SOMETHING out... that's for sure.

*waits for Thomas to start the break dancing excitedly*

It might be a while Vid... I did try to moonwalk when the store started playing "Beat it" by Michael Jackson....

Hmm not breaking dancing but I will take what I can get.

You should offer the defective die as tribute to your cat, who will either add it to his/her horde behind the sofa or bat it under the refrigerator where it will be expunged from memory.

Let your other dice watch so they learn what happens to your enemies.

Looks delicious.

The eggplant turned out a little tough(I think I need to cook it longer) - but the whole thing was made up off 230g of okra(yes, I can hear Freehold screaming), 2 tomatoes, a chopped onion,80g ground pork, a handful of mozarella cheese and half a teaspoon of basil, thyme, rosemary and a good pinch of salt.

Also shape run is this Sunday. Am I up to running 10 km in under an hour?

*tail twitches*

I know my 5km speed is <30 min(28min ish) timed with Samsung health tracker.

Me, the other day talking to a friend:

"I'm trying intermittent fasting."

"Oh yeah? How long you been doing that?"

*checks watch*

"Since breakfast. Should hold out another 15 minutes or so."

"I don't think—"

"IT'S INTERMITTENT!"

I may have misunderstood.

We once put a horrid dice in the oven to melt.

It came out all awesome and puddely and the nubers were still readable.
We use it to scare other dice in behaving well.

I dunno about offerings to cats...since I prefer dogs. I'm not about to let a dog chew on them.

But I am SERIOUSLY considering putting THAT d20 in a special bag.

This is why your dice are not rolling well.

It's easy. Smash it with a hammer in view of the other dice.

Anyway my BF had a case of bad dice rolling too - he got a chance to become a BBEG last Sunday(5e game) by devouring the soul of a dragon. Unfortunately, even with a sentinel shield which allows one reroll for init, he rolled 3 and 10, and basically his party members beat him in init. The party pally(despite having a 30% hit rate on him), kept critting and he got chained stunned by the monk so he didn't get a turn =(

I guess maybe the other party members rolls were just too good.

Mort,

I'm against destroying my own property unless I some how end up with the Necronomicon or the Book of the Damned.

Freehold,

Dogs and my liking them have nothing to do with my poor dice rolling. I'm still betting Cyric hates me.

Freehold is one of those cat people who thinks that dogs are infinitely less worthy creatures.

I'm sure. But as a guy that would have been dead before 25 without my dog Malcolm, I'm pretty sure they have value. Same is true about my dog Tucker. Though his worth to me came after he left this mortal plane..in terms of I didn't realize just how much I depended on him.

[origin="supervillain"] Freehold is actually 12 cats in a Vorlon trenchcoat whom The Whedon refused to adopt. [/origin]

I thought he was just a Vogon that didn't like poetry...

Can confirm.

I've always thought of Freehold as a self-loathing Alton Brown fanboy.

Managed to keep up with the fastying yesterday evening. Did not consume any snacks while GMing home game!

The Exchange

Wow that's quite a feat. I'm not good at the fasting thing especially if people are eating in front of me. If I need to fast I need to drink a lot of water and keep busy.

Do you mind if I ask what's your BMI and body fat percentage(if you know it) Woran?

Mine is about 21 on BMI 20 percent body fat.

Scarab Sages

My BMI would be 28.4, no clue about my body fat percentage, but its probably pretty high as I have quite a tummy at the moment.

BMI also does not take into account my build. I'm tall and lanky, so when I hit a BMI of 25, I will most likely still have a few kilos too many.

I love poetry. Bad erotic poetry to be precise.

I love to cook.

And sometimes bake.

Still hate Alton Brown.

Okay so he is a Vogon, we're just fortunate he's not made us hear or read any of it. Good to know.

{adjusts knobs on foil-lined ConspiraColander} He may also be Macavity and/or Mr. Mistoffelees in a Frozone suit with Victor Fries* nanotech.

(The BtAS Fries, not the Govenator one)

I hated nearly everything about that movie, but even the Gropinator's certified Provel dialogue would be massively improved by having it delivered via Michael Ansara's voice.

If it's any consolation, ever since I posted that comment, I've had the compulsion to dig out my Cats DVD and rewatch it. So far, I've been making my saves, but it only takes one failed roll.

Just wait till the new movie comes out.

Right now all I know is Freehold and I might not be friends, but we're certainly not enemies. At most we're anime rivals.
