Troubadour (Core Ally 0) has pointy ears for a human...

See title (blatantly lampshading a RotR FAQ).

Not much mechanical relevance, but I'm pretty confident the artwork depicts a half-elf, at the least.

Huh, just a little while ago, he was a pointy-eared halfling. Oh my, they grow so fast these days. Wait a moment …

Human does seem weird.
I haven't played much PACG.
Would being an elf, human or half-elf be relevant anywhere?

Not often, but it can. There's VERY select banes that may penalize you for using cards with the human trait, for example. Pre-Core Charm Person will explicitly draw a random human ally from the box, as another example (probably the best example, since people playing with Class Decks either at home or for Society Play may be using that particular spell even if they're playing with the Core set).

As I said, it's very rare for races to be relevant traits in PACG, but not unheard of.

There are villains/henchmen in Skull & Shackles (Season of the Shackles?) that are easier to defeat if a character is non-human. I forget which ones, though.

We went through with Radovan, Celeste, Ranzak, and Grazzle. So we got lucky there.
