Ritualist and Occult Rituals, How would you go about it?

Howdy!

So, the newer Legacy booklet brought out a prestige class Ritualist. and it is all about the occult rituals.

I'm wondering what folks would build that out of? Bot has a player and for NPCs?

Has anyone built fun occult rituals?
Honestly I really want to figure out a way to use them more often...

Off hand Psychic Detective is my thought, since so many books/shows have similar. Epy detective would also work.
Mindchemist as well-though their mutagin wouldn't work on most rituals due to length of time I think.

Second thought would be a Words of Power caster. Which amuses me in that they're word based, it makes sense to me that they'd have to study Rituals to figure things out.
The alternative fluff there would be they're always using rituals and only rituals. THey jus figured out small fast rituals to produce effects using their blood and voice to build the pieces

Has anyone built any neat rituals? It would be neat to build one for Travel and for Healing in some way..
I don't think there is any way to make one for combat of course due to timing (I dont think you can build ones that are Rounds in nature. Thouogh with the prestige you could knock it down).

I've read the system for making rituals. I've used it once though I used the system they based it off (D&D's incantations) a few times more. For a straightforward case like healing it looks easy enough, though putting designing travel rituals in PC hands looks more like a recipe for minmax disaster.

Some sort of investigator for easy skill boosts does seem like a reasonable choice. A full caster seems like a worse idea since they have spells, likely of comparable power.
